LA INTERVENÇÃO DE MAUS TRATOS EM PESSOAS IDOSAS. PROMOÇÃO DO BOM TRATAMENTO AO IDOSO
Promover a melhoria da qualidade de vida dos idosos e a intervenção socioeducativa do grupo adulto-idoso exige necessariamente a detecção, prevenção e intervenção das relações afetivas que geram tratamentos inadequados. O abuso ao idoso exige coesão interdisciplinar e a aplicação e desenvolvimento de programas socioeducativos (Educacional ou Gerontologia Educacional) que promovam respostas socioculturais adequadas às demandas e necessidades de nossos idosos. No caso das mulheres idosas, esses maus-tratos são afetados por sua condição de mulher e pelo desamparo social e cultural que as mulheres idosas sofrem. Apresentamos, entre outras, iniciativas que promovem o empoderamento de mulheres vítimas de violência, o “Programa Mulher, Saúde e Violência” da Área de Igualdade, Cooperação e Cidadania da Câmara Municipal de Bilbao, ou “Associação de Mulheres Sobreviventes de Violência de Gênero”. Do Sul Construindo Igualdade ”que trabalha na Andaluzia (Espanha). Nossa posição como pesquisadores é antes da intervenção socioeducativa é a adoção de um modelo sócio-crítico. Consideramos e denunciamos os abusos e maus-tratos que a sociedade global oferece aos mais velhos. Esses comportamentos geram uma consequente deterioração que afeta negativamente as relações afetivas dos idosos nas famílias e entre as diferentes gerações - pais, avós, netos -. Com especial destaque, este estudo apresenta os fatores que facilitam e promovem o risco de maus-tratos no âmbito familiar - ambiente doméstico - e o perfil do idoso vítima de maus-tratos e maus tratos e de seus cuidadores.

Abstract:
Promoting the improvement of the quality of life of the elderly and the socio-educational intervention of the adult-elderly group necessarily demands the detection, prevention, and intervention of affective relationships that generate inappropriate treatment. Elder abuse demands interdisciplinary cohesion and the application and development of socio-educational programs (Educational or Educational Gerontology) that promote adequate socio-cultural responses that meet the demands and needs of our elders. In the case of older women, this mistreatment is affected by their status as a woman and the social and cultural helplessness that older women suffer. We present, among others, initiatives that promote the empowerment of abused women, the “Women, Health and Violence Program” of the Equality, Cooperation and Citizenship Area of the Bilbao City Council, or the “Association of Women Survivors of Gender Violence. From the South Building Equality ”who works in Andalusia (Spain). Our position as researchers is before the socio-educational intervention is the adoption of a socio-critical model. We consider and denounce the abuse and mistreatment that global society gives its elders. These behaviors generate a consequent deterioration that negatively affects the affective relationships of the elderly in families and between different generations -parents, grandparents, grandchildren-. With special emphasis, this study presents the factors that facilitate and promote the risk of abuse within the family -domestic environment- and the profile of the elderly victim of abuse and mistreatment and that of their caregivers.
