LA INFLUENCIA DE LAS REDES SOCIALES EN EL APRENDIZAJE DE ESTADÍSTICA DESCRIPTIVA
Las redes sociales representan una forma para que un conjunto de estudiantes logre fomentar su comunicación, asistir entre ellos en tareas comunes. Estas particulares hacen pensar que su utilización sería conveniente en el entorno educativo superior universitario. Por lo mismo, esta investigación formativa tiene como objetivo determinar la utilización de las redes sociales en el favorecimiento del aprendizaje de estadística descriptiva, y como la comunicación mejora entre docentes y estudiantes. La metodología aplicada fue de tipo descriptivo. Contando con la participación de una muestra de 38 estudiantes asistentes. Para la recolección de datos se utilizó un cuestionario, mediante el instrumento de la encuesta y como resultados se obtuvo que la mayoría de los estudiantes mejoran la calidad de aprendizaje con el uso de las redes sociales en la asignatura de estadística descriptiva aprobando el 78.3% con notas de calidad. Así mismo se comprobó que la mayoría hace uso diario de las redes sociales en un 71.1% además que la mayoría de los estudiantes no tienen limitaciones para el acceso a las redes sociales en un 50%.

Abstract:
Social networks represent a way for a group of students to promote their communication, assist each other in common tasks. These particulars suggest that its use would be convenient in the university higher education environment. For this reason, this formative research aims to determine the use of social networks in promoting the learning of descriptive statistics, and how communication improves between teachers and students. The applied methodology was descriptive. With the participation of a sample of 38 attending students. For the data collection, a questionnaire was used, through the survey instrument and as results it was obtained that the majority of the students improve the quality of learning with the use of social networks in the subject of descriptive statistics, approving 78.3% with quality notes. Likewise, it was found that the majority make daily use of social networks in 71.1%, in addition to the fact that the majority of students do not have limitations for access to social networks in 50%.
