LA IDENTIDAD DOCENTE EN LA FORMACIÓN INICIAL. UNA APROXIMACIÓN A LOS PENSARES Y SENTIRES DE LOS FUTUROS EDUCADORES
El objetivo de investigación fue identificar y analizar los elementos que tributan a la
construcción de la identidad docente en educadores/as de párvulos en su
formación inicial. Se utilizó la metodología cualitativa y la técnica de narrativas en
una muestra de 41 educadores de párvulos en formación pertenecientes a la
carrera de Educación párvulos de la Universidad Católica de la Santísima
Concepción, Chile. Los principales elementos identificados fueron La identidad,
quehacer, el significado de ser docente y el desarrollo del niño/a. Se puede
evidenciar que la Identidad docente se relaciona con la importancia de ser guía y
acompañar los procesos bajo una estrecha relación con los niños, familias y
entornos. Se explicita la relación con la protección y el aprendizaje de los párvulos
por medio de experiencias significativas, reconociendo el juego como una
herramienta importante dentro de la formación, atendiendo a la diversidad de
condiciones o situaciones y reconociendo necesidades e intereses particulares de
los párvulos.

Abstract:
The research objective was to identify and analyze the elements that contribute to
the construction of teacher identity in early childhood educators in their initial
training. The qualitative methodology and the narrative technique were used in a
sample of 41 early childhood educators in training belonging to the Early Childhood
Education career of the Universidad Católica de la Santísima Concepción, Chile.
The main elements identified were: Identity, work, the meaning of being a teacher
and the development of the child. It can be seen that the teaching identity is related
to the importance of being a guide and accompanying the processes under a close
relationship with children, families and environments. The relationship with the
protection and learning of infants and toddlers through meaningful experiences is
made explicit, recognizing play as an important tool in education, attending to the
diversity of conditions or situations and recognizing the particular needs and
interests of the infants and toddlers.
