INVENTÁRIO DA CULTURA MATERIAL DOS IMIGRANTES ITALIANOS NA ANTIGA COLÔNIA PAIOL GRANDE – RS
O presente artigo tem por objetivo discutir algumas questões pertinentes à construção da identidade do imigrante italiano na região da Antiga Colônia Paiol Grande (Erechim) no estado do Rio Grande do Sul. Produziu-se um levantamento dos lugares de memória e de associações culturais que evocam esta identidade. Para a realização da pesquisa efetuou-se um levantamento bibliográfico no que concerne a dados relevantes para a contextualização do tema em questão. Efetuou-se também o levantamento de lugares de memória que evocam a identidade e os símbolos constituintes da cultura material do imigrante italiano, além da identificação dos grupos culturais e folclóricos. Estes por sua vez desempenham um papel fundamental no que se refere ao reavivamento e ritualização cultural da etnia. Todos estes dados contribuem na discussão quanto à mobilização do patrimônio cultural e histórico destes imigrantes para a construção de sua identidade enquanto grupo, fora de seu país de origem e mantido por várias gerações.

Abstract:
This article aims to discuss some issues relating to construction of the identity of the Italian immigrant in the area of the Old Colony Paiol Grande (Erechim) in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. There was a survey of places of memory and cultural groups that evoke the identity. For this research we performed a literature review regarding the relevant data for the contextualization in question.Also we held up the lifting of memory places that evoke the identity and the constituent symbols of the Italian immigrant material culture, besides the identification of cultural and folk groups. These one have a crucial role as regards the revival and cultural ritualization of this ethnic group. All these data contribute to the discussion on the mobilization of the cultural and historical heritage of these immigrants to build their identity as a group, outside their country of origin and kept for generations.
