INTERVENÇÃO MULTIDISCIPLINAR EM PORTADOR DE CÂNCER DE PULMÃO COM INTOLERÂNCIA À VNI – RELATO DE CASO
Câncer é uma patologia que
ocorre por fatores diversos em decorrência
de estímulos internos, externos e por falha
no sistema imunológico. O câncer de pulmão
é o segundo tipo de câncer mais comum em
homens e mulheres no Brasil, o tabagismo e a
exposição ao tabaco é um importante fator de
risco para o desenvolvimento desta doença.
O tratamento do câncer de pulmão pode ser
realizado através de cirurgia, quimioterapia,
radioterapia e imunoterapia. A quimioterapia
visa eliminar as células neoplásicas, controlar o
crescimento do tumor e amenizar os sintomas da
doença; porém durante e após a infusão podem
ocorrer diversos efeitos colaterais. A ventilação
não invasiva (VNI) deve ser o primeiro recurso
para o tratamento da insuficiência respiratória,
porém alguns pacientes não se adaptam a
interface e o uso de técnicas para uma melhor
aderência a esse recurso se faz necessário para
que não ocorra um agravamento do quadro de
insuficiência respiratória.

Abstract:
Cancer is a pathology that occurs
due to several factors due to internal, external
stimulus and immune system failure. The Lung
cancer is the second most common type of
cancer in men and women in Brazil, smoking
and exposure to tobacco is an important risk
factor for the development of this disease. The
treatment of the lung cancer can be performed
through surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy,
and immunotherapy. The chemotherapy aims to
eliminate neoplasic cells, control tumor growth
and reduce the symptoms of the disease but
during and after the infusion several side effects
can be occur. The non invasive ventilation (NIV)
should be the first resource for the treatment of
respiratory failure, but some patients don’t adapt
to the interface and the use of techniques for
better adherence to this resource is necessary
so that there isn’t worsening of the condition of
respiratory failure.
