INTERAÇÃO ENTRE UNIVERSIDADE E SOCIEDADE: VIVENCIANDO A ENGENHARIA QUÍMICA COM ALUNOS DE ENSINO MÉDIO
Este trabalho tem como objetivo
apresentar o projeto de extensão universitária
intitulado Vivenciando Engenharia Química,
desenvolvido na Universidade Tecnologica
Federal do Paraná. Busca popularizar a Ciência
e a Tecnologia, a fim de instigar os alunos de
ensino médio a cursar Engenharia Química.
No projeto os alunos dos cursos técnicos de
Química e Alimentos de um colégio público
da cidade de Ponta Grossa participaram de
10 encontros teórico-práticos, onde foram
realizadas atividades que demonstraram
um pouco das áreas estudadas no curso de
Engenharia Química, além de características
e habilidades necessárias para a profissão de
engenheiro, bem como o cenário acadêmico do
curso. Os resultados quantitativos apresentados
baseiam-se nos resultados do ano 2017
totalizando 46 alunos.

Abstract:
The objective of this work is to
present the university extension project titled
Vivenciando Engenharia Química, developed at
the Federal Technological University of Paraná.
It seeks to popularize Science and Technology
in order to instigate high school students to
attend Chemical Engineering. In the project the
students of the technical courses of Chemistry
and Food of a public college of the city of Ponta
Grossa participated in 10 theoretical-practical
meetings, where activities were performed
that demonstrated a little of the areas studied
in the Chemical Engineering course, besides
characteristics and abilities necessary for the
engineering profession, as well as the academic
setting of the course. The quantitative results
presented are based on the results for the year
2017 totaling 46 students.
