INICIATIVAS ESTATAIS FAVORÁVEIS AO INVESTIMENTO DA REFINARIA PREMIUM I E SUAS IMPLICAÇÕES SOCIOESPACIAIS EM BACABEIRA (MA): permanências e perspectivas
Este artigo tem como temática as
iniciativas estatais favoráveis ao investimento
da Refinaria Premium I no estado do Maranhão,
a partir de 2009. A questão central examina
como se configuram essas iniciativas estatais
e quais as suas implicações socioespaciais em
Bacabeira. O Estado, associado com a iniciativa
privada tem viabilizado e priorizado projetos
socioeconômicos propícios para a produção e
reprodução do capital, selecionando e tornando
os espaços não mais isolados, mas atrelados
à dinâmica econômica mundial. A opção
teórico-metodológica norteadora do processo
investigativo é o método do materialismo
histórico dialético. Esse investimento, todavia,
foi cancelado pela Petrobrás em 2015 e adiado
para 2029, sendo que desde o ano de 2010
registraram-se transformações socioespaciais
em Bacabeira, as quais são analisadas
e associadas às atuais permanências e
perspectivas.

Abstract:
This article is about the state
initiatives favorable to the investment of the
Premium I Refinery in the state of Maranhão,
from 2009. The central issue examines how
these state initiatives shape and what their
socio-spatial implications in Bacabeira. The
State, associated with the private initiative, has
made feasible and prioritized socioeconomic
projects favorable to the production and
reproduction of capital, selecting and making
spaces no longer isolated, but linked to the
world economic dynamics. The theoreticalmethodological
option guiding the investigative
process is the method of dialectical historical
materialism. This investment, however, was
canceled by Petrobras in 2015 and postponed
to 2029, and since 2010 there have been sociospatial
transformations in Bacabeira, which are
analyzed and associated with the current stays
and prospects.
