IMUNOTERAPIA DIRECIONADA PARA O TRATAMENTO DE MALIGNIDADE NO SISTEMA NERVOSO CENTRAL
O sistema imunológico pode ser utilizado como um meio de tratamento para os tumores malignos localizados no sistema nervoso central. Pesquisas mostraram que algumas células possuem a capacidade de ativar um mecanismo de defesa para combater ou inibir o crescimento de massas cancerosas, podendo até erradicar as mesmas. Os diversos tipos celulares que estão correlacionados com uma resposta antitumoral são significativos, sendo estas alvos de pesquisadas afim de obter-se resultados quanto a sua eficácia. Sendo assim, o objetivo deste trabalho é reunir conhecimento sistêmico sobre imunoterapia direcionada a tumores malignos que abrangem o sistema nervoso central. O trabalho é composto por uma revisão sistemática da literatura, contendo em seus estudos primários à fonte de dados, descrevendo-os. As pesquisas na literatura científica foram realizadas por meio das bases de dados da Biblioteca Virtual (BVS), SCIELO, MEDLINE, LILACS, BDENF e periódico da CAPES. Foram definidos como critérios de inclusão: Produções publicadas em inglês, português, espanhol, além de monografias, livros, artigos, publicados entre o período de 2010 a 2020, e como critério de exclusão: produções fora da temática e publicações com datas anteriores a 2010. Para o método de coleta de dados serão empregados consecutivos descritores associados: Imunoterapia, tumores malignos cerebrais, sistema imune, tratamentos, sistema nervoso central. O processo de investigação dos dados foi feito comparando o tema, título e resumo dos conteúdos apresentados, averiguando e confirmando que fazem parte da mesma temática. Dentro das buscas foram encontrados 9.270 artigos, sendo 64 compatíveis com todos os critérios inclusão, porém apenas 14 continham informações relevantes para compor este estudo. Conclui-se que os resultados desse tipo de tratamento são incompletos, fazendo-se necessários mais estudos para garantir a eficácia desses novos métodos de terapia. Contudo percebeu-se que a imunoterapia é um promissor tratamento para malignidades que acometem o sistema nervoso central.

Abstract:
The immune system can be used as a means of treatment for malignant tumors located in the central nervous system. Research has shown that some cells have the ability to activate a defense mechanism to combat or inhibit the growth of cancerous masses and may even eradicate them. The several cellular types that are correlated with an antitumoral response are significant, being these targets of researched in order to obtain results regarding their effectiveness. Thus, the objective of this work is to gather systemic knowledge about immunotherapy directed to malignant tumors that cover the central nervous system. The work is composed by a systematic review of the literature, containing in its primary studies the source of data, describing them. The researches in the scientific literature were made through the Virtual Library (VHL), SCIELO, MEDLINE, LILACS, BDENF and CAPES databases. The following were defined as inclusion criteria: Productions published in English, Portuguese, Spanish, as well as monographs, books, articles, published between 2010 and 2020, and as exclusion criteria: productions outside the theme and publications with dates prior to 2010. For the data collection method, consecutive associated descriptors will be used: Immunotherapy, malignant brain tumors, immune system, treatments, central nervous system. The process of data investigation was done comparing the theme, title and summary of the contents presented, checking and confirming that they are part of the same theme. Within the searches were found 9,270 articles, 64 compatible with all inclusion criteria, but only 14 contained relevant information to compose this study. It is concluded that the results of this type of treatment are incomplete, making more studies necessary to ensure the effectiveness of these new methods of therapy. However, it was perceived that immunotherapy is a promising treatment for malignancies that affect the central nervous system.
