IMPORTÂNCIA DO FARMACÊUTICO CLÍNICO NO AMBIENTE HOSPITALAR
As atribuições do farmacêutico clínico estão dispostas na Resolução no 585 de 29 de agosto de 2013 do Conselho Federal de Farmácia (CFF). A partir dessas responsabilidades, somadas à concepção do Cuidado Farmacêutico enquanto área de atuação, este profissional deve promover o Uso Racional de Medicamentos. Assim, o presente trabalho teve como objetivo investigar a relevância da presença de um farmacêutico clínico no ambiente hospitalar.Realizou-se uma análise por revisão integrativa de artigos científicos recentes sobre a problemática. Como resultados, os estudos demonstram que a presença de um farmacêutico junto a equipe clínica aumenta a segurança e a eficácia de medicamentos prescritos, reduz os problemas relacionados à medicamentos, bem como diminui o número de retornos após a alta de pacientes em Unidades de Terapia Intensiva (UTI). É notável há uma melhoria no tratamento das enfermidades que se deve em parte à presença de um farmacêutico neste ambiente. Portanto, compreende-se a grande importância de tal profissional junto a equipe clínica em hospitais e sua contribuição tanto para melhoria das condições do paciente, quanto para o aumento da credibilidade do hospital em que este atua, no que tange a segurança do paciente.

Abstract:
The assignments of the clinical pharmacist are arranged in Resolution Number. 585 of August 29, 2013 of the Conselho Federal de Farmácia (CFF). Based on these responsibilities, added to the concept of Pharmaceutical Care while area of expertise, this professional must promote the Rational Use of Medicines. Thus, this study aimed to investigate the relevance of the presence of a clinical pharmacist in the hospital environment. An analysis was carried out by integrative review of recent scientific articles on the issue. As a result, studies show that the presence of a pharmacist with the clinical team increases the safety and efficacy of prescription drugs, reduces problems related to medications, as well as decreases the number of returns after discharge from patients in Intensive Care Units (ICU). It is notable that there is an improvement in the treatment of diseases that is due in part to the presence of a pharmacist in this environment. Therefore, one understands the great importance of this professional with the clinical team in hospitals and their contribution both to improving the conditions of the patient and to increasing the credibility of the hospital where he operates, with regard to patient safety.
