IMPORTÂNCIA DA VACINAÇÃO CONTRA O VÍRUS HPV E SUA RELAÇÃO COM O CÂNCER DO COLO DO ÚTERO
A infecção por papilomavírus humano (HPV) é conhecida por ser uma das infecções genitais mais prevalente no mundo e é causa essencial para ocorrência do câncer do colo do útero. A presente pesquisa teve como objetivo descrever a importância da vacinação contra o vírus HPV e sua relação com o câncer do colo do útero. Metodologia: O presente estudo trata-se do tipo revisão de literatura. Utilizou-se as bases de dados Scielo, ScienceDirect e PubMed com o recorte temporal de 2012 a 2018. Com os descritores utilizados de modo associado e isolados foram “HPV”; “VACINA” e “CÂNCER DO COLO DO ÚTERO”, em inglês e português. Resultados e Discussão: Dentro dessas buscas foram encontrados 554 artigos, porém, após a exclusão de achados duplicados, indisponíveis na integra e incompletos. Ao final das análises, 6 artigos foram incluídos na revisão. A terapêutica atual baseia-se fundamentalmente na eliminação das lesões clínicas utilizando agentes químicos, físicos e imunomoduladores. O HPV é reconhecido como um dos agentes que leva ao câncer de colo de útero, além disso tem sido associado a vários outros tipos de câncer. Conclusões: Como mostra descrito ao longo da presente pesquisa, o HPV é um vírus de alta relevância, por apresentar níveis epidemiológicos elevado em todo mundo, além de provocar diversas complicações, como o câncer do colo do útero. A evidência científica disponível atualmente confirma que a vacina contra o HPV é eficaz na prevenção de lesões precursoras do câncer de colo do útero.

Abstract:
Introduction: The infection by human papilloma virus (HPV) is known for being one of the most prevalent genital infections in the world and is essential cause for the occurrence of cancer of the cervix of the uterus. This study aimed to describe the importance of vaccination against the virus HPV and its relationship with the cancer of the cervix of the uterus. Methodology: The present study it is of type A review of the literature. We used the databases PubMed and Scielo, ScienceDirect with temporal clipping from 2012 to 2018. With the descriptors used so associated and isolates were "HPV"; "vaccine" and " cancer of the cervix of the uterus ", in English and Portuguese. Results and Discussion: Within these searches were found 554 articles, however, after the exclusion of duplicate findings, unavailable in integra and incomplete. At the end of the analyzes, 6 articles were included in the review. The current therapy is based primarily on the elimination of clinical lesions using chemical, physical and immunomodulators. HPV is recognized as one of the agents that leads to cervical cancer, in addition has been associated with several other types of cancer. Conclusions: As described throughout this study, the HPV is a virus of high relevance, by presenting epidemiological levels high throughout the world, in addition to cause several complications, such as cancer of the cervix of the uterus. The scientific evidence currently available confirms that the HPV vaccine is effective in the prevention of precursor lesions of cervical cancer of the uterus.
