IMPORTÂNCIA DA TERAPIA NUTRICIONAL COM FUNGOS MEDICINAIS NO TRATAMENTO DO CÂNCER
Considerando-se a associação
dos fungos medicinais no tratamento das
neoplasias, o presente estudo teve por objetivo
analisar a importância da terapia nutricional
com fungos medicinais no tratamento do
câncer. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da
literatura, cuja finalidade foi reunir e sintetizar
evidências disponíveis em artigos originais
produzidos sobre o tema pertinente relacionado
a suplementação fúngica e o câncer. Com os
descritores: Terapia, neoplasia e agaricales,
indexadas no (DECS), com recorte temporal
de 2000 a 2018, no idioma português, inglês
e espanhol. Ao todo foram recuperados 159
trabalhos. Após filtrá-los de acordo com os critérios
de inclusão e exclusão, restaram 5 que melhor
se enquadravam no tema proposto. A terapia
nutricional com fungos medicinais promove
significativa redução dos efeitos adversos
causados pelo uso de quimioterápicos, portanto
podemos constatar que os fungos medicinais
possuem ações nutricionais, farmacológicas e
medicinais e uma dieta rica em suplementação
fúngica pode trazer melhorias ao prognóstico
de pacientes. No entanto, faz-se necessário
explanar detalhadamente os possíveis efeitos
adversos, toxicidade, mecanismo de ação e
doses terapêuticas necessárias para tratamento
efetivo das neoplasias.

Abstract:
Considering the association of medicinal fungi in the treatment of
neoplasias, the present study aimed to analyze the importance of nutritional therapy
with medicinal fungi in the treatment of cancer. This is an integrative review of the
literature, whose purpose was to gather and synthesize available evidence in original
articles produced on the pertinent topic related to fungal supplementation and cancer.
With the descriptors: Therapy, neoplasia and agaricales, indexed in (DECS), with
a temporal cut from 2000 to 2018, in Portuguese, English and Spanish. 159 works
were recovered. After filtering them according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,
5 were left that best fit the proposed theme. The nutritional therapy with medicinal
fungi promotes a significant reduction of the adverse effects caused by the use of
chemotherapeutic agents, so we can verify that the medicinal fungi have nutritional,
pharmacological and medicinal actions and a diet rich in fungal supplementation can
bring improvements to the prognosis of patients. However, it is necessary to explain in
detail the possible adverse effects, toxicity, mechanism of action and therapeutic doses
necessary for effective treatment of the neoplasias.
