IMPLEMENTACIÓN DE UN PROGRAMA PARA LIDERAZGO EN ESTUDIANTES SECUNDARIOS EN LA PROVINCIA DE ÑUBLE, CHILE
La sociedad requiere de jóvenes comprometidos con su entorno y orientados al bien común. En este contexto la Universidad cumple un papel importante en la formación de agentes de cambio social. Se evaluó el impacto del Programa Liderando Líderes en estudiantes secundarios (15-18 años) de la Provincia de Ñuble. El Programa se enmarca en un Convenio con la Dirección Provincial de Educación, para generar un acompañamiento en liderazgo, desarrollo organizacional y comunitario de manera piloto. Participaron 8 establecimientos. Para evaluar el impacto se aplicó a los jóvenes un cuestionario utilizando una escala Likert, que contempló 20 preguntas en total. El 85% de las respuestas tuvo valoraciones iguales o superiores a 3 (sobre maximo 5) en cada pregunta. La mediana en 19/20 preguntas fue 5 y un 91.7% recomendaría el programa a otros estudiantes. Se concluyó que el programa tuvo una alta y homogénea valoración de los estudiantes y refleja que estas instancias son validadas por ellos.

Abstract:
Society requires young people committed to their environment and oriented to the common good. In this context, the University plays an important role in the training of agents of social change. The impact of the Liderando Líderes Program on secondary students (15-18 years old) in the Province of Ñuble was evaluated. The Program is part of an Agreement with the Provincial Directorate of Education, to generate accompaniment in leadership, organizational and community development. Eight establishments participated. To evaluate the impact, a questionnaire was applied to the students using a Likert scale, which included 20 questions in total. 85% of the responses had ratings equal to or greater than 3 in each question (maximum scale is 5) and 91.7% would recommend the program to other students. It was concluded that the program had a high and homogeneous evaluation of the students and reflects that these instances are validated by them.
