• Abstract: In the metaverse, patients can have their profiles drawn up based on multiple pieces of information made available in virtual environments with the advantage of having their medical records updated using vital signs transferred by their gadgets. In Dentistry, these innovations will allow planning, making diagnoses, simulating, carrying out actions remotely or virtually presenting patients with clarifications and treatment hypotheses so that they can exercise their choices autonomously. This literature reviewpoints out the correlation betweenBlockchain frameworks and industry guidelinesLaw13,709/2018 (General Data Protection Law), demonstrating the importance of greater reliability in sensitive data information flows. Data transfer at Metahealth relies on the large volume of confidential information provided by patients and agents have a legal duty to protect, treat and manage it, using the best technology to control unauthorized access and maintain network reliability. In virtual environments, natural or legal persons, under public or private law, have a duty to ensure the privacy of data subjects. The implementation of verification structures (Blockchain) in databases and digital records with electronic keys, verification mechanisms, certification of authorship of access and expressions of will, if implemented, will make relationships more reliable and secure in the metaverse.
