IMIGRANTES BOLIVIANOS DA PLANÍCIE E DO ALTIPLANO EM REGIÃO DE FRONTEIRA: DISTINÇÕES PREGRESSAS EM SOLIDARIEDADE SELETIVA
Este artigo objetiva entender como imigrantes bolivianos se organizam para estabelecer suas sociabilidades e garantir suas sobrevivências na região de fronteira. Esta pesquisa foi desenvolvida em Corumbá, MS, Brasil. Partimos do pressuposto que os bolivianos possuem distinções profundas entre os que habitam o altiplano e as pessoas das planícies, que poderiam ser resumidos na dicotomia colla e camba. A organização dos grupos variou entre a criação de clube social, promovida pelos cambas, e os improvisos de redes informais, no caso dos collas. Nossa metodologia consistiu em realização de entrevistas, levantamentos documentais em acervos disponíveis naquela cidade e revisão bibliográfica.

Abstract:
This article aims to understand how Bolivian immigrants organize to establish their societies and ensure their survival in the border region. This research was developed in Corumbá, MS, Brazil. We assume that Bolivians have deep distinctions between those who inhabit the highlands and the people of the plains, who could be summarized in the colla and camba dichotomy. The organization of the groups varied between the creation of social club, promoted by the cambas, and the improvisations of informal networks, in the case of the collas. Our methodology consisted in conducting interviews, documentary surveys in collections available in that city and bibliographic review.
