E por que não sê-las apenas imagens?

Esse é o ponto central que envolve esse estudo:

localizar a imagem na contemporaneidade.

Este artigo ambiciona convidar à reflexão

sobre a visualidade, objeto central dos estudos

visuais a partir de pontos de intersecção entre

imagem, estudos culturais, cultura da mídia e

poder social, a deriva do formalismo histórico

da arte, no sentido de compreender as variadas

posições do sujeito que emerge através dessas

relações visuais. Através de uma narrativa

videográfica publicada no canal brasileiro

oficial “Disney Princesa Brasil” no Facebook,

é proposta uma análise de complexidade póslinguísticafundamentada em Evans; Hall (1999),

Guash (2006) e Mitchell (2009) em ‘Instituição’,

‘Aparatos’, ‘Corpos’ (incluindo a representação

e recepção do espectador) e questões estéticas

de ‘Figuralidade’ da imagem.

Abstract:
And why not just be images? This is

the central point that this study implies: to locate

the image in contemporaneity. This article aims

to invite reflection on visuality, the central object

of visual studies based on points of intersection

between image, cultural studies, media culture

and social power, the derivation of the historical

formalism of art, in the sense of understanding

the varied positions of the subject that emerges

through these visual relationships. Through a

videographic narrative published on the official

Brazilian channel “Disney Princesa Brasil”

on Facebook, an analysis of post-linguistic

complexity based on Evans is proposed;

(1999), Guash (2006) and Mitchell (2009) in the

‘Institution’, ‘Apparatus’, ‘Bodies’ (including the

representation and reception of the viewer) and

aesthetic questions of ‘Figurality’ of the image.
