HORTA ESCOLAR ORGÂNICA COMO LABORATÓRIO PARA CONSCIENTIZAÇÃO AMBIENTAL E ALIMENTAR DE ALUNOS DO ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL NO MUNICÍPIO DE ITACOATIARA
O Centro de Estudos Superiores de
Itacoatiara possui atividades de pesquisa onde
a expertise dos atores envolvidos diz respeito
a produção de mudas vegetais no laboratórioviveiro
existente na Instituição. Essa expertise
em muito contribuiu para a implementação de
uma horta orgânica nas escolas municipais,
onde professores/pesquisadores atuaram
diretamente na orientação dos alunos das
escolas públicas do município de Itacoatiara.
Sendo definido a participação de duas escolas
da rede pública do ensino fundamental, e
realizado a seleção dos alunos participantes.
Ocorrendo oficinas e palestras de caráter
teórico e prático sobre estrutura de uma horta
orgânica e temas relacionados com alimentação
saudável e meio ambiente, oferecendo aos
estudantes uma reflexão e discussão sobre
esses temas. A visita ao viveiro institucional
do CESIT-UEA também contribuiu para essa
reflexão. Com a abordagem da horta e a própria
produção de alimentos pelos alunos, houve
conscientização e sensibilização das crianças
para consumir produtos saudáveis. A mão na
massa para fazer a horta orgânica e produzir
o próprio alimento foi um ponto favorável como
alternativa de conscientização ambiental e
melhoria na alimentação escolar. A abordagem
teórico e prática sobre produção de horta
orgânica pontuou-se como um ponto favorável
para conscientização ambiental e alimentação
saudável para alunos do Ensino Fundamental.

Abstract:
The Center for Higher Studies of
Itacoatiara has research activities where the production experience is focused on the
production of vegetable seedlings in the nursery laboratory existing in the Institution.
This expertise greatly contributed to the establishment of a human school in municipal
schools, where the professors/researchers acted directly in the school of the public
schools of the municipality of Itacoatiara. Being defined as one of the public elementary
and fundamental schools for the formation of the students. There are workshops and
lectures of a theoretical and structured nature of an organic garden and themes related
to care and environment, with the help of reflection and action on these themes. The
visit to the CESIT-UEA institutional nursery also contributed to this reflection. With an
approach to the vegetable garden and a small production of food for children, there was
awareness and awareness of children to consume healthy products. Hand in hand to
make an organic vegetable garden and produce food for the individual is an alternative
means of environmental awareness and improvement in school fitness. The theoretical
and practical approach to the production of organic foods marks a favorable point for
environmental awareness and healthy eating for elementary school students.
