As características do rádio
tipificadas por Gisela Swetlana Ortriwano em
A Informação no rádio: os grupos de poder e
a determinação dos conteúdos (São Paulo:
Summus, 1985) são submetidas às conjunturas
advindas da prevalência da internet no contexto
social. Esse fato sofre influência do fenômeno
da convergência, um dos propulsores das
mudanças que afetam as “mídias tradicionais”
ávidas por adaptação à nova realidade digital.
Pelo exposto este texto propõe a reflexão
sobre a atualidade, em tempo de internet, das
características do rádio presentes na citada
obra. Adotou-se pesquisa bibliográfica que
notou a potencialização das particularidades
do rádio citadas pela autora em sua obra
referencial. Observou-se, ainda, consolidação
de características complementares não
elencadas no mesmo texto de forma direta pela
autora, como a interatividade e a capacidade
educativa do rádio.

Abstract:
The characteristics of radio
typified by Gisela Swetlana Ortriwano in
Radio Information: power groups and content
determination (São Paulo: Summus, 1985) are
submitted to the conjunctures arising from the
prevalence of the Internet in the social context.
This fact is influenced by the phenomenon of
convergence, one of the drivers of the changes
that affect the “traditional media” eager for
adaptation to the new digital reality. For the
above, this text proposes a reflection on the
actuality, in Internet time, of the characteristics
of the radio present in that work. It was adopted
a bibliographical research that noticed the
potentialization of the particularities of the
radio cited by the author in his reference
work. It was also observed the consolidation
of complementary characteristics not directly
mentioned in the same text by the author, such
as the interactivity and the educational capacity
of the radio.
