GEOTECNOLOGIA: UMA FERRAMENTA PARA USO EM CONTEÚDOS DE GEOGRAFIA E OUTRAS ELETIVAS NO ENSINO MÉDIO
Para compreender o ambiente urbano é importante que o meio ambiente seja entendido a partir de uma visão complexa e ampla, indo além de aspectos físicos e ambientais. Deve-se considerar o ambiente como um local socialmente criado, compartilhado e sujeito a múltiplos interesses. O objetivo deste estudo foi identificar e mensurar a expansão urbana no distrito de Vila Negri, Taquaritinga, SP, fazendo-se o uso de imagens de satélite disponível no software Google Earth Pro (GEP). A metodologia utilizada nesse estudo foi o uso de imagens de satélite por comparação visual, usando-se o software livre GEP, para identificar e mensurar as variações na expansão urbana do referido distrito, por análise multitemporal, dentro do período 2004 a 2022. Os resultados mostraram que as alterações que ocorreram no distrito de Vila Negri nos últimos 18 anos foram marcadas muito mais pela alteração do uso e ocupação do solo, onde a cultura da cana-de-açúcar continua avançando e a citricultura resistindo.

Abstract:
To understand the urban environment, it is important that the environment is understood from a complex and broad perspective, going beyond physical and environmental aspects. The environment must be considered as a socially created place, shared and subject to multiple interests. The objective of this study was to identify and measure urban sprawl in the district of Vila Negri, Taquaritinga, SP, using satellite images available in Google Earth Pro (GEP) software. The methodology used in this study was the use of satellite images by visual comparison, using the free software GEP, to identify and measure the variations in the urban expansion of that district, by multitemporal analysis, within the period 2004 to 2022. The results showed that the changes that occurred in the Vila Negri district in the last 18 years were marked much more by the change in land use and occupation, where the sugarcane culture continues to advance and the citrus industry is resisting.
