GEOPROCESSAMENTO APLICADO AO MAPEAMENTO DE ÁREAS DE OCUPAÇÃO EM ZONAS DE PROTEÇÃO AMBIENTAL NA CIDADE DE NATAL/RN
As ocupações irregulares se tornaram um dilema muito comum atualmente, acarretando sérios problemas relacionados à segurança pública além dos problemas causados nas áreas ambientais e urbanísticas das cidades. Na capital potiguar, a população mais carente da cidade reside em áreas inapropriadas com a ocupação de encostas íngremes, campos de dunas, margens dos rios, áreas de mangue e em zonas de proteção ambiental, que são ambientes de fortes restrições quanto ao uso. O desigual acesso a aquisição do solo urbano devido às condições impostas pelos processos sociais acaba destinando as populações mais pobres a se instalarem em áreas impróprias à ocupação, refletindo em um padrão de ocupação urbana com áreas socialmente segregadas além de causar impactos drásticos ao ecossistema. A análise partiu de criação de polígonos no Google Earth para delimitar a área estudada, em seguida transferimos os arquivos criados do Google Earth do tipo SHP para o software QGIZ versão 2.18 a fim de realizar uma melhor quantificação de área, na área delimitada. Devido a amplitude da superfície protegida nas duas margens do Rio Potengi, a área da ZPA 8 é dividida em dois setores: A e B sendo que o setor A, na Região Administrativa Norte, abrange partes dos territórios dos bairros de Redinha, o bairro a ser analisado. É importante destacar os números expressivo de residências construídas nessa área, fato que piora a condição de vida nos aspectos sociais, portanto se a qualidade de vida é precária, se vive mal, além de todos os problemas identificados como, lançamento de esgotos e águas servidas que não são coletadas, no Rio Potengi, deposição de resíduos da construção civil de forma irregular, invasão de APPs em áreas públicas, Incêndios, desmatamento e caça de animais silvestres que causam problemas irreversíveis ao meio ambiente.

Abstract:
Irregular occupations have become a very common dilemma today, causing serious problems related to public security in addition to the problems caused in the environmental and urban areas of cities. In the capital of Rio Grande do Sul, the most deprived population of the city resides in inappropriate areas with the occupation of steep slopes, dune fields, river banks, mangrove areas and in areas of environmental protection, which are environments of strong restrictions in terms of use. The unequal access to the acquisition of urban land due to the conditions imposed by social processes ends up destining the poorest populations to settle in areas unsuitable for occupation, reflecting a pattern of urban occupation with socially segregated areas in addition to causing drastic impacts to the ecosystem. The analysis started with the creation of polygons in Google Earth to delimit the studied area, then we transferred the files created from Google Earth of type SHP to the software QGIZ version 2.18 in order to perform a better quantification of the area, in the delimited area. Due to the amplitude of the protected surface on the two banks of the Potengi River, the area of ZPA 8 is divided into two sectors: A and B, and sector A, in the Northern Administrative Region, covers parts of the territories of the neighborhoods of Redinha, the neighborhood a be analyzed. It is important to highlight the expressive numbers of residences built in this area, a fact that worsens the living condition in social aspects, so if the quality of life is precarious, if one lives poorly, in addition to all the problems identified as, sewage and wastewater discharge that, in the Potengi River, the deposition of civil construction residues is not collected in an irregular manner, invasion of APPs in public areas, fires, deforestation and hunting of wild animals that cause irreversible problems to the environment.
