GÉNESIS INSTRUMENTAL DE LA NOCIÓN DE FRACTAL EN PROFESORES DE MATEMÁTICAS DE NIVEL SECUNDARIO
La presente investigación tiene por objetivo analizar el proceso de génesis instrumental de la noción de fractal en profesores de matemática de nivel secundario. Se utilizaron aspectos del Enfoque Instrumental y del estudio de caso como base teórica y metodológica respectivamente. Profesores de Perú, Brasil, México, Cuba y Colombia desarrollaron una secuencia de actividades donde movilizaron algunas características de la noción de fractal, como la repetición de procesos infinitos o la reproducción del mismo patrón a diferentes escalas, al realizar iteraciones tanto de estructura numérica como geométrica. Los profesores interactuaron con diferentes tecnologías (material concreto y GeoGebra), lo que les permitió construir distintos modelos de fractales como el conjunto de Cantor, el triángulo de Sierpinski, el Copo de hielo de Koch, entre otros. Las producciones presentadas por los profesores tanto en material concreto como en GeoGebra, evidencian que se generó la génesis instrumental de la noción de fractal en los profesores.

Abstract:
The present research aims to analyze the process of instrumental genesis of the notion of fractal in high school mathematics teachers. Aspects of the Instrumental Approach and the case study were used as theoretical and methodological basis respectively. Teachers from Peru, Brazil, Mexico, Cuba and Colombia developed a sequence of activities where they mobilized some characteristics of the fractal notion, such as the repetition of infinite processes or the reproduction of the same pattern at different scales, when performing iterations of numerical and geometric structure. The participants interacted with different technologies (concrete material and GeoGebra), which allowed them to build different fractal models such as the Cantor set, the Sierpinski triangle, the Koch Iceflake, among others. The productions presented by the participants, both in concrete material and GeoGebra, show that the instrumental genesis of the notion of fractal was generated in the teachers.
