FUNDAMENTOS TEÓRICOS DA REPRESENTAÇÃO POLÍTICA E DO SISTEMA PARTIDÁRIO
O presente trabalho objetiva tratar os principais conceitos, características e princípios da representação política. O tema “representação política” é posto em debate diante de qualquer problema em que indivíduos ou grupos de indivíduos são colocados na tentativa de se buscar soluções consensuais coletivas. Em que pese a solução de conflitos coletivos ser uma das questões mais antigas da humanidade, inerente ao próprio ser humano, o conceito de representação política, como atualmente é utilizado, apareceu muito mais tarde na cultura ocidental. Um conceito complexo, diferente do vocábulo “representar”, e com características muito particulares. A polissemia do termo contribuiu para que a práxis não se adequasse aos modelos ideais correntes, contaminando-se pelos diferentes usos de “representação” e “representar” nas artes visuais, nas artes cênicas, na literatura e no campo jurídico, entre outros.

Abstract:
The present paper aims at treating the main concepts, characteristics and principals of the political representation. The topic “political representation”, is debated before every problem in which people or group of people seek collective consensual solutions. Although the solution to collective conflicts are known to be one of the oldest issues of the humanity, inherent to the human being, the concept of political representation, as nowadays is stated, has appeared later in the western culture. A complex concept, different form the word “represent”, and with very peculiar characteristics. The many uses of the word have contributed to the praxis not to adequate to the ideal models and tendencies, being thoroughly spread by the different uses of “representation” and “represent” no the visual arts, theater, literature and in the juridical field, among others.
