Abstract: This chapter is based on an ongoing research project aimed at establishing a didactic concept that enables curricular flexibility in higher education institutions in Colombia. First, the research problem is established by addressing face-to-face, distance, and virtual educational modalities, and theoretical constructs that provide important foundations for this study are established. Next, the methodology, population, and context are addressed. Then, the collection of information from students through the guide of prejudices is described, and data analysis is conducted using the hermeneutic approach of this research. Finally, the conclusions are presented in light of the preliminary findings obtained and their contribution to the formulation of the didactic concept.
