Frutificando o Futuro: Arte e Horta
Com a pandemia foi preciso nos reinventar em buscas de alternativas para dar continuidade aos trabalhos que já aconteciam na Escola Municipal Coronel José Cardoso, Itaperuna-RJ. Através do projeto “Frutificando o Futuro” e do uso de plataforma digital a interação de alunos e escola foi possibilitada, visando o aprendizado da educação ambiental e alimentar (EAA). A solução foi a elaboração de uma cartilha lúdica contando a história do projeto juntamente com o “Kit horta” com o objetivo de ensinar os alunos a plantar as hortaliças em sua casa e a cuidar da natureza e alimentação. Assim, essa cartilha foi elaborada com uma linguagem de fácil compreensão e com desenhos representando o ambiente escolar. O kit foi composto por uma sacola de terra, dois vasos de garrafas pet, uma máscara e dois tipos de sementes, alface em todos e a outra variando (beterraba, cenoura ou morango), separadas em embalagens de papel. Os materiais foram colocados em sacolas de TNT, pois precisávamos utilizar produtos com menor agressão ao meio ambiente. O trabalho foi desenvolvido em uma turma de 21 alunos entre 5 a 6 anos. Todos receberam em sua casa os materiais, respeitando o protocolo de higiene sanitária. Das 21 crianças, 17 participaram ativamente enviando vídeos e fotos do plantio e das mudinhas. Mesmo sendo algo novo e diferente teve uma aceitação relevante das crianças e contribuição dos pais. Em seguida tivemos outra atividade remota, onde as crianças assistiram um vídeo, e fizeram desenhos mostrando o que aprenderam com as atividades, dando os seus depoimentos. O novo método de ensino diminui o impacto do distanciamento e permitiu concluir que essa proposta produz efeitos positivos, pois a recepção e o envolvimento participativo tanto dos alunos quanto dos responsáveis possibilitaram o aumento da consciência a respeito da EAA a distância, e estes devem ser valorizados. Por isso, para que o trabalho possa continuar acontecendo com outras turmas e em outras instituições a cartilha se transforma em um livro, permitindo a interação entre os saberes escolares e as atividades de casa. Dessa forma, ampliando a participação dos amigos, pais e responsáveis no processo de ensino-aprendizagem.

Abstract:
With the pandemic, we had to reinvent ourselves in search of alternatives to continue the work already happening at Escola Municipal Coronel José Cardoso, Itaperuna-RJ. Through the “Fruiting the Future” project and the use of a digital platform, the interaction between students and school was made possible, aiming at learning about environmental and food education (EAA). The solution was the development of a playful booklet telling the story of the project together with the “Garden Kit” with the aim of teaching students how to plant vegetables at home and how to take care of nature and food. Thus, this booklet was prepared with easy-to-understand language and with drawings representing the school environment. The kit consisted of a bag of soil, two vases of pet bottles, a mask, and two types of seeds, lettuce in all of them and the other assorted (beetroot, carrot, or strawberry), separated in paper packages. The materials were placed in TNT bags, as we needed to use products with less aggression to the environment. The work was developed in a class of 21 students between 5 and 6 years old. All received the materials at their home, respecting the sanitary hygiene protocol. Of the 21 children, 17 actively participated by sending videos and photos of the planting and seedlings. Even though it was something new and different, it had relevant acceptance from the children and contribution from the parents. Then we had another remote activity, where the children watched a video, and made drawings showing what they learned from the activities, giving their testimonies. The new teaching method reduced the impact of distancing and allowed us to conclude that this proposal produces positive effects, as the reception and participatory involvement of both students and guardians made it possible to increase awareness about distance EAA, and these should be valued. Therefore, so that the work can continue with other classes and in other institutions, the booklet becomes a book, allowing the interaction between school knowledge and home activities. Thus, expanding the participation of friends, parents, and guardians in the teaching-learning process.
