FORMAÇÃO DE MONITORES EM IST/AIDS POR MEIO DA ABORDAGEM DE EDUCAÇÃO EM PARES: RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA
O projeto Promoção da Saúde
Sexual e Reprodutiva (Transando Saúde) do
Serviço Social do Comércio – SESC alinhase
à perspectiva da promoção em saúde ao
estabelecer objetivos orientados ao autocuidado,
que se articulam ao empoderamento para
intervenção sobre a qualidade dos ambientes
considerados em seus diferentes aspectos
– físico, político, social, cultural –almejando,
ainda, como um de seus objetivos em longo
prazo: ampliar a participação no processo
de discussão com os diferentes setores da
sociedade e o envolvimento nas práticas de
promoção da saúde e melhoria da qualidade
de vida da comunidade. Sua metodologia
prevê o desenvolvimento de processos de
capacitação dirigidos aos trabalhadores de
empresas e escolas, visando à sua formação
como agentes multiplicadores de saúde
para a sistematização de ações educativas
– educação entre pares – na perspectiva da
institucionalização de programas de prevenção
no próprio ambiente laboral, sob supervisão,
acompanhamento e assessoria técnica do
SESC. Ao adotar o raciocínio estratégico e o
enfoque participativo na forma de conceber
o processo de planejamento, execução e
avaliação, integrando atores institucionais das
escolas da rede pública e privada (diretores,
professores, alunos), secretarias de saúde
e de educação, associações comerciais,
empresários, trabalhadores das empresas de
comércio e serviços, além de representantes
da sociedade civil organizada e grupos em
situação de vulnerabilidade, conclui-se que esta
abordagem tem potencial para efetuar mudanças
individuais quanto aos conhecimentos, atitudes,
crenças e comportamentos, criar mudanças em
nível grupal estimulando a ação coletiva para
influenciar políticas e programas e também
no nível da sociedade, contribuindo para a
alteração de normas instituídas.

Abstract:
The project Promotion of Sexual and Reproductive Health (Transando
Saúde) by SESC is aligned with the perspective of health promotion by establishing
objectives oriented to self-care, which are articulated to the empowerment to intervene
on the quality of the environments considered in their different aspects - physical,
political, social, cultural - still aiming at one of its long-term objectives: to increase
participation in the process of discussion with the different sectors of society and the
involvement in the practices of health promotion and quality improvement of community
life. Its methodology envisages the development of training processes aimed at
the workers of companies and schools, aiming at their training as health multipliers
for the systematization of educational actions - peer education - in the perspective
of institutionalization of prevention programs in the workplace, under supervision,
monitoring and technical advice of SESC. By adopting strategic thinking and a
participatory approach in designing the planning, execution and evaluation process,
integrating institutional actors from public and private schools (principals, teachers,
students), health and education secretariats, trade associations, entrepreneurs, trade
and service workers, as well as representatives of organized civil society and vulnerable
groups, it is concluded that this approach has the potential to effect individual changes
in knowledge, attitudes, beliefs and behaviors, stimulating collective action to influence
policies and programs and also at the level of society, contributing to the change of
norms instituted.
