FASCÍNIO E TERROR: AS FIGURAS FEMININAS EM AURA DE CARLOS FUENTES E A OUTRA VOLTA DO PARAFUSO DE HENRY JAMES
A perspectiva da mulher como
transgressora remete aos principais mitos
de criação e segue, pela Arte e Literatura,
estabelecendo toda uma jornada de subversão
que acabou por consolidar uma compreensão do
feminino como representante do incognoscível,
do misterioso e do inalcançável, logo
perigoso, ameaçador. Este estudo se propõe
a problematizar e comparar a composição dos
elementos do gênero Fantástico, nas obras Aura
de Carlos Fuentes e A outra volta do parafuso
de Henry James, levando em conta a utilização
de aspectos atribuídos tradicionalmente ao
imaginário feminino, na tessitura dos contos.

Abstract:
The perspective of the woman as
transgressor refers to the main myths of creation
and follows, by Art and Literature, establishing
a whole way of subversion that ended up a
consolidating an understanding of the feminine
as a representative of the unknowable, the
mysterious and the unreachable, therefore
dangerous, threatening. This study proposes to
problematize and compare the composition of
the elements of the Fantastic in the texts Aura of
Carlos Fuentes and The other turn of the screw
of Henry James, taking into account the use of
aspects traditionally attributed to the feminine
imaginary, in the building of the stories.
