EXPERIMENTAÇÃO NO ENSINO DE CIÊNCIAS AGRÁRIAS
O presente trabalho visa relatar a
experiência ocorrida pelos discentes graduandos
em Licenciatura em Ciências Agrarias de um
experimento realizado na disciplina Fertilidade
do Solo e Nutrição de Plantas, tendo como
propósito o diagnostico visual dos sintomas
de deficiência. Por meio dessa análise, os
discentes devem fixar com maior exatidão os
sintomas e deficiência nutricional das culturas
do milho e feijão. O referido experimento foi
conduzido no setor de Agricultura III no Instituto
Federal Baiano - Campus Senhor do Bonfim,
tendo como foco promover e desenvolver
atividades práticas no curso de Licenciatura em
Ciências Agrárias estimulando a aprendizagem
e proporcionando aos alunos aprimorar
conhecimentos e testar hipótese e outros
métodos avaliativos que não sejam exames
escritos e quantitativos. Para a realização da
atividade foi utilizado com substrato areia de
rio, que foi lavada três vezes para a eliminação
de matéria orgânica e lixiviar quaisquer
nutrientes presentes. Posteriormente a areia foi
depositada em vasos de PVC, cultivados com
milho (Zae mays) e feijão (Phaseolus vulgaris).
Por meio dessa atividade prática constatouse que a experimentação proporcionou aos
discentes menos dependência do docente,
motivando-os buscar por si mesmos solucionar
as dificuldades apresentadas no decorrer do
experimento. Os resultados obtidos mostraram
que os alunos conseguem melhor êxito quando
buscam o conhecimento por conta própria.

Abstract:
The present work aims to report
the experience of undergraduates graduating in
Agricultural Sciences degree from an experiment
carried out in the field of soil fertility and plant
nutrition, with the purpose of visually diagnosing
by foliar analysis, through the use of experiment,
by means of this analysis the students can fix
more accurately the symptoms and nutritional
deficiency of the maize and beans crops. This
experiment was conducted in agriculture III at
the Instituto Federal Baiano - Campus Senhor
do Bonfim, with the focus of promoting and
developing practical activities in the degree course in Agrarian Sciences stimulating
learning, causing students to improve their knowledge and test hypothesis by providing
other methods evaluations other than written and quantitative examinations. To do this,
river sand with substrate was used in which it was washed three times for the elimination
of organic matter and leaching any nutrients present. Subsequently this substance was
deposited in 24 vessels made of PVC of 200 mm in diameter and 300 mm in height. In
each container was placed 6 bean seeds and 6 maize seed separately, after a certain
period of time the thinning of the world occurred, leaving only 4 in each pot. By means
of this practical activity it was found that the experimentation conceived to the students
less dependent on the teacher, proportionate to search by itself to solve the difficulties
imposed of the results obtained in the course of the experiment The results obtained is
related to the use of experiments, as well as teaching and evaluation tools.
