EXPERIÊNCIA DE ACADÊMICOS DE ENFERMAGEM EM AULA PRÁTICA NO PROCESSO DE ASPIRAÇÃO DE TRAQUEOSTOMIA E TUBO OROTRAQUEAL
A aspiração é um procedimento que faz parte do conjunto de cuidados implementados dentro de uma Unidade de Terapia Intensiva (UTI), é realizado para remover secreções do trato respiratório e manter as vias aéreas pérvias e prevenir de infecções. O procedimento de Aspiração é amplamente utilizado para manter a permeabilidade das vias aéreas, promover trocas gasosas, melhorar a oxigenação arterial e da função pulmonar. A aspiração é um recurso simples amplamente utilizado em pacientes de unidade de terapia intensiva, sob ventilação mecânica ou não, ou em pacientes de leito hospitalar que não conseguem expelir voluntariamente as secreções pulmonares. Trata-se de um relato de experiência do tipo descritivo qualitativo referente a aula prática da disciplina de assistência de enfermagem em Unidade de Terapia Intensiva, com acadêmicos do 7° semestre do curso de Enfermagem da Faculdade de Teologia, Filosofia e Ciências Humanas Gamaliel (FATEFIG), realizada no laboratório da instituição que fica localizada no município de Tucuruí-PA, em 06/10/2021. Com a temática “Aspiração de traqueostomia, tubo orotraqueal e vias aéreas”, no qual o objetivo foi desenvolver a utilização adequada do procedimento visando os cuidados com o paciente. a experiência prática dos acadêmicos de enfermagem do 7° período no processo de aspiração teve como base principal aprenderem as técnicas corretas e o manuseio dos instrumentais para a execução correta da aspiração de traqueostomia, do tubo orotraqueal e vias aéreas. Pôde-se observar durante a aula prática no laboratório de enfermagem, o quanto é fundamental e importante que seja usada essa ferramenta metodológica dentro da disciplina assistência de enfermagem em UTI, pois, permite ao aluno uma maior fixação do conteúdo que foram vistos anteriormente e na mais interação entre eles, fazendo com que haja maiores benefícios a curto, médio e logo prazo na qualidade de aprendizagem. Essa experiência para os alunos de enfermagem se torna importante.

Abstract:
Aspiration is a procedure that is part of the set of care implemented within an Intensive Care Unit (ICU), it is performed to remove secretions from the respiratory tract and keep the airways patent and prevent infections. The Aspiration procedure is widely used to maintain airway permeability, promote gas exchange, improve arterial oxygenation and pulmonary function. or in hospital bed patients who are unable to voluntarily expel pulmonary secretions. This is an experience report of the qualitative descriptive type referring to the practical class of the nursing care discipline in an intensive care unit (ICU), with students from the 7th semester of the Nursing course at the Faculty of Theology, Philosophy and Human Sciences Gamaliel (FATEFIG), carried out in the laboratory of the institution located in the municipality of Tucuruí-PA, on 10/06/2021. With the theme “Aspiration of tracheostomy, orotracheal tube and airways”, in which the objective was to develop the proper use of the procedure aiming at patient care. the practical experience of nursing students in the 7th period in the aspiration process was mainly based on learning the correct techniques and handling the instruments for the correct execution of tracheostomy, orotracheal tube and airway aspiration. It was possible to observe during the practical class in the nursing laboratory, how fundamental and important it is to use this methodological tool within the discipline of nursing care in the ICU, because it allows the student to have a better fixation of the content that was seen previously and in the more interaction between them, causing greater benefits in the short, medium and long term in the quality of learning. This experience for nursing students becomes extremely important.
