EXAME FÍSICO DAS MAMAS: UMA VISÃO AMBULATORIAL NO SISTEMA ÚNICO DE SAÚDE (SUS)
Ao longo do ambulatório de Saúde da Mulher da Universidade Federal de São João del Rei houve uma demanda sobre qual seria a melhor forma para realização do exame físico das mamas nas pacientes, integrando conhecimento científico, prática ambulatorial, o bem-estar da paciente e a realização de um bom exame semiológico. Para isso, foi observada a necessidade do conhecimento da anatomia da região mamária para então realizar um exame preciso e objetivo, com um entendimento fundamentado do que se procura. Nesse sentido, foi apresentada a anatomia da mama, desde a inervação, vascularização até a localização de linfonodos e em seguida descrito como um bom exame físico das mamas deve proceder, especificando o que é mais importante avaliar em cada etapa. A proposta de compreensão da anatomia e de roteiro para exame foi organizada com base em informações extraídas de livros e manuais consagrados na área da saúde.

Abstract:
Throughout the Women's Health Outpatient Clinic from the Universidade Federal de São João del Rei, there was a demand on what would be the best way to perform the breast physical exam in patients, integrating scientific knowledge, outpatient practice, the patient’s well-being and the conduction of a good semiological examination. For this, it was observed the need for knowledge of the anatomy of the mammary region to then carry out an accurate and objective examination, with a well-founded understanding of what is sought. In this sense, the anatomy of the breast was requested, from innervation, vascularization to the location of lymph nodes and then described how a good physical examination of the breasts should proceed, specifying what is most important to evaluate at each stage. The proposal for understanding the anatomy and the script for the physical examination was organized based on information extracted from books and manuals established in the area of health.
