EVOLUÇÃO BIOLÓGICA: UMA EXPERIÊNCIA DURANTE VII MOSTRA DE BIOLOGÍA IFPI 2022
O objetivo desse trabalho foi relatar as ações da VII Mostra de Biologia do IFPI/Campus Teresina Central e comentar a percepção de um grupo de Licenciandos em Ciências Biológicas desta instituição de ensino sobre a referida mostra. A VII Mostra de Biologia do IFPI foi realizada no dia 03 de setembro de 2022 no Parque da Cidadania em Teresina, no horário de 16 às 18 horas, sendo apresentada por alunos dos cursos de licenciaturas oferecidas pelo IFPI/Campus Teresina Central. A mostra foi baseada no livro “O Poema Imperfeito” escrito por Fernando Fernandez. É um livro sobre ecologia humana, ou seja, trata a forma como nossa espécie se relaciona com as outras espécies. No decorrer da preparação da mostra tiveram vários momentos onde os capítulos do referido livro foram apresentados na forma de palestras. E “Evolução Biológica” foi um dos temas abordados. Inicialmente, assuntos referentes a esse tema foram divididos entre 10 alunos participantes desse trabalho. Foram formados 5 grupos, cada grupo composto por 2 alunos. Grupo 1: apresentou a “Biografia de Charles Darwin”; Grupo 2: abordou "Floresta fóssil e as grandes extinções no Pré-Cambriano"; Grupo 3: falou sobre “Evolução dos Primatas”; Grupo 4: retratou “Evolução Humana”; Grupo 5: Expôs “Evidências da Evolução”, explicando sobre: mimetismo; camuflagem; órgãos análogos, homólogos e vestigiais. Segundo relato de alunos envolvidos na apresentação da mostra, as palestras apresentadas no decorrer da preparação do evento foram importantes para promover a reflexão a respeito da interferência negativa do homem sobre a natureza. Esses alunos declararam que foi sua primeira experiência no desenvolvimento desse tipo de evento, que este trabalho foi algo motivador, que adquiriram experiência, aprenderam muitas coisas e que tiveram oportunidade de trabalhar em grupo. Todos os alunos concordaram sobre a importância da mostra como veículo de propagação do conhecimento junto à comunidade.

Abstract:
The objective of this work was to report the actions of the VII Biology Exhibition of the IFPI/Campus Teresina Central and to comment on the perception of a group of Licentiates in Biological Sciences from this teaching institution about the aforementioned exhibition. The VII IFPI Biology Exhibition was held on September 3, 2022 at Parque da Cidadania in Teresina, from 4 pm to 6 pm, and was presented by students of the degree courses offered by the IFPI/Campus Teresina Central. The show was based on the book “O Poema Imperfeito” written by Fernando Fernandez. It is a book about human ecology, that is, it deals with the way our species relates to other species. During the preparation of the exhibition, there were several moments where the chapters of the referred book were presented in the form of lectures. And “Biological Evolution” was one of the topics discussed. Initially, subjects related to this topic were divided among 10 students participating in this work. Five groups were formed, each group consisting of 2 students. Group 1: presented the “Biography of Charles Darwin”; Group 2: addressed "Fossil forest and the great extinctions in the Precambrian"; Group 3: talked about “Primate Evolution”; Group 4: portrayed “Human Evolution”; Group 5: Exhibited “Evidence of Evolution”, explaining about: mimicry; camouflage; analogous, homologous and vestigial organs. According to the report of students involved in the presentation of the exhibition, the lectures presented during the preparation of the event were important to promote reflection on the negative interference of man on nature. These students declared that it was their first experience in the development of this type of event, that this work was something motivating, that they gained experience, learned many things and that they had the opportunity to work in groups. All students agreed on the importance of the exhibition as a vehicle for spreading knowledge within the community.
