ESTUDOS DOS CUSTOS E PREJUÍZOS OCASIONADOS PELOS ALAGAMENTOS NO BAIRRO INTERVENTORIA, SANTARÉM, PARÁ, BRASIL.
A medida que aglomerados urbanos
se formam e há o aumento da urbanização de
um local, problemas relacionados à drenagem
urbana tendem a ocorrer, como: enchentes,
inundações, alagamentos, poluição ambiental,
surgimento de doenças de veiculação hídrica
e até mesmo comprometimento humano
e material. A hipótese e motivação para o
presente estudo se baseia justamente nas
informações apresentadas anteriormente, e
tem como objetivo realizar o levantamento
inicial dos custos e prejuízos ocasionados pelos
alagamentos no bairro Interventoria no município
de Santarém – PA. Para tanto, o estudo foi
realizado com base no relato dos moradores por
meio de entrevistas diretas. Perguntas sobre o
tempo de residência no bairro, a ocorrência e
a frequência dos alagamentos e a estimativa
dos prejuízos materiais, além de mudanças
estruturais permanentes foram realizadas.
Além disso, a interferência de outros serviços
de saneamento foram analisados e constatouse
relação de causa-efeito entre a destinação
resíduos sólidos e a manutenção do sistema
de drenagem no bairro. É valido destacar
que a falta de planejamento, manutenção e
investimento governamental estão como as
principais causas apontadas.

Abstract:
As urban settlements are formed
and there is increasing urbanization of a site,
problems related to urban drainage tend to occur,
such as: floods, floods, floods, environmental
pollution, the emergence of waterborne diseases
and even human and material impairment . The
hypothesis and motivation for the present study
is based precisely on the information presented
previously, and aims to carry out the initial
survey of costs and damages caused by flooding in the Interventoria neighborhood
in the municipality of Santarém - PA. For this, the study was carried out based on the
residents' reports through direct interviews. Questions about the residence time in the
neighborhood, the occurrence and frequency of flooding and the estimation of material
damage, and permanent structural changes were made. In addition, interference
from other sanitation services was analyzed and a cause-and-effect relationship was
found between solid waste disposal and the maintenance of the drainage system in
the neighborhood. It is worth mentioning that the lack of planning, maintenance and
government investment are the main causes pointed out.
