ESTUDO SOBRE VIOLAÇÃO DOS DIREITOS HUMANOS E BULLYING NO IFMT
Pesquisa em andamento realizada
pelo Grupo de Pesquisa em Humanidades
e Sociedade Contemporânea (GPHSC) do
Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e
Tecnologia de Mato Grosso (IFMT), sobre
Bullying e violação dos Direitos Humanos.
Bullying é uma palavra de origem inglesa
usada para definir diversas formas de violência
imposta a indivíduos ou grupos de indivíduos:
agressões físicas, psicológicas, repressão,
exclusão, discriminação, calúnia são tipos de
violência geralmente associadas ao Bullying.
Quais seriam as estratégias de enfrentamento
institucional quando tais atos ocorrem dentro
do ambiente educacional? O objetivo deste
trabalho é apresentar os primeiros resultados
do diagnóstico realizado sobre o tema no
campus Pontes e Lacerda do IFMT. Com uma
metodologia de natureza qualitativa (descritiva
e interpretativa), utilizou-se como método de
coleta de dados um formulário on line, com
perguntas fechadas e abertas aos alunos.
Foram entrevistados 136 alunos do ensino
médio, dos cursos de Informática e Controle
Ambiental. Conforme os resultados da pesquisa
foi possível perceber a necessidade de enfatizar,
por meios de trabalhos no ambiente escolar
e na sociedade como um todo, as questões
de inclusão e diversidade seja ela cultural,
de gênero, racial, entre outros, afim de que o
convívio dos grupos sociais seja feito de forma
respeitosa por todos, sem que um indivíduo seja
excluído por não ser semelhante aos outros.

Abstract:
Ongoing research conducted
by the Research Group on Humanities and
Contemporary Society (GPHSC) of the Federal
Institute of Education, Science and Technology
of Mato Grosso (IFMT), on Bullying and Violation
of Human Rights. Bullying is an English word
used to define various forms of violence
imposed on individuals or groups of individuals:
physical, psychological, repression, exclusion,
discrimination, slander are types of violence
commonly associated with bullying. What
would be the strategies of institutional coping
when such acts occur within the educational
environment? The aim of this paper is to
present the first results of the diagnosis made
on the theme on the IFMT Pontes and Lacerda
campus. With a qualitative methodology
(descriptive and interpretive), it was used as
a data collection method an online form with
closed and open questions for students. A total of 136 high school students from the
Informatics and Environmental Control courses were interviewed. According to the
results of the research it was possible to realize the need to emphasize, by means of
work in the school environment and in society as a whole, the issues of inclusion and
diversity, be it cultural, gender, racial, among others, in order that socializing social
groups be respectfully done by everyone, without an individual being excluded for not
being similar to others.
