Estudo de caso de uma vistoria em um viaduto
Este presente trabalho apresenta um estudo sobre a preservação de viadutos. A partir da observação das recentes notícias sobre a queda de pontes e viadutos ao redor do mundo, e a falta de manutenção nessas estruturas, verificou-se a necessidade de produção desse trabalho a fim de investigar os motivos que levam a essas quedas e a falta de vistorias nestas Obras de Arte Especiais (OAE). Para tanto, elencou-se os padrões estabelecidos pela Associação Brasileira de Normas Técnicas (NBR), juntamente com as principais recomendações sobre as manutenções em viadutos. Foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica sobre o tema, que traz alguns dos principais artigos e autores sobre o tema, como Paulo Helene, que produziu diversas pesquisas sobre o assunto. Para facilitar a compreensão da importância da inspeção em viadutos, foi realizado um estudo de caso, no qual foi feita uma vistoria em um viaduto, além de mostrar também suas patologias. Com este trabalho, espera-se que as concepções sobre a importância dessas obras de arte sejam analisadas e que não haja mais o abandono das mesmas, devido a sua importância.

Abstract:
This paper presents a study on the preservation of viaducts. From the observation of the recent news about the fall of bridges and viaducts around the world, and the lack of maintenance in these structures, it was verified the necessity of producing this paper in order to investigate the reasons that lead to these falls and the lack inspections at these Special Masterpiece. Therefore, the standards established by the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards, along with the main recommendations on maintenance on viaducts, were listed. A bibliographical research was carried out on the theme, which brings some of the main articles and authors on the subject, such as Paulo Helene, who produced several researches on the topic. In order to facilitate the understanding of the importance of viaduct inspection, a case study was accomplished, in which a survey was carried out on a viaduct, as well as showing its pathologies. With this paper, it is hoped that the conception about the importance of these works of art will be analyzed and that they will no longer be abandoned due to their importance.
