Abstract: This paper describes the study of harmonic distortion in low-power LED-based lamps for residential use, also called low-consumption lamps. These types of lamps are considered non-linear devices due to their internal electronic components. Based on market information, a group of lamps with a high commercial demand was selected. These lamps had their optical and electrical parameters measured, in order to compare them with the values provided by the manufacturer. Using measuring equipment such as the power grid analyzer, the voltage and current waveforms were obtained.
