Abstract: This research measures the students' moods regarding their grades and their study habits. The instruments used are the surveys: Mood Rating Scale (EVEA) and Study Habits of the National Technological Institute of Mexico (TecNM), applied to students from different careers and from two technological institutions in the state of Aguascalientes. The application is done digitally, the data are analyzed and interpreted using Excel, to apply statistical formulas. It is intended to solve: What emotion the students have regarding their grade, and to what extent that emotion has to do with the effort (study habits) that they give to that grade, how is it that in the semesters they change the emotion or how is it that they modify their study habits, there is a significant difference between men and women. The applied research method is used with a mixed paradigm and descriptive research. The emotion of the students is measured in Sadness - depression, Anxiety, Anger - hostility and Joy, with respect to their grade, and to what extent that emotion has to do with the work they prepare to obtain it, in 7 segments: Time distribution, Motivation for study, Distractors during study, How to take class notes from reading, How do you prepare an exam, Attitudes and productive behaviors before study. The results are revealing, there is a difference between genders, in the semesters, they change their emotions and modify their study habits. The objective is to establish the emotion with respect to their scholastic achievement, in order to relate the moods of the students and their study habits. In the conclusion, some recommendations are given for the institution, as a result of the interpretation of the data with respect to the authors reviewed.
