ESTABILIZAÇÃO SEGMENTAR NO TRATAMENTO DE LOMBALGIA: UMA REVISÃO INTEGRATIVA
A estabilização segmentar demonstra-se efetiva sobre o equilíbrio muscular, o que promove a redução de injurias na região lombar da coluna vertebral, resultando na melhoria da qualidade de vida. Objetivou-se realizar uma revisão integrativa sobre a eficácia da estabilização segmentar na lombalgia. Tratou-se de uma revisão integrativa de literatura, analisando-se as publicações científicas nos últimos dez anos. Em janeiro de 2018, foi realizada a busca das publicações indexadas nas bases de dados: Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde e Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval Sistem on-line. Foram incluídos na revisão 9 estudos, dos quais a maioria consistiu em revisão de literatura. A estabilização segmentar obteve resultado satisfatório e impacto positivo no tratamento de lombalgia na maioria dos estudos, com variações conforme a população-alvo e as terapias comparadas. Entretanto, evidencia-se que há entraves que permeiam a aplicabilidade da estabilização segmentar no tratamento de dor lombar como ausência de diretrizes específicas de Fisioterapia, entre outros.

Abstract:
Segmental stabilization is effective on muscle balance, which promotes the reduction of injuries in the lumbar region of the vertebral column, resulting in the improvement of the quality of life. The objective was to carry out an integrative review on the effectiveness of segmental stabilization in low back pain. It was a integrative review of literature, analyzing the scientific publications in the last ten years. In January 2018, the search for indexed publications in the databases: Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences and Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval Sistem on-line was carried out. A total of 9 studies were included in the review, of which the majority consists of literature review. The segmental stabilization obtained a satisfactory result and a positive impact in the treatment of low back pain in most of the studies, with variations according to the target population and the comparative therapies. However, the evidence that there are obstacles that permeate an application of segmental stabilization is not a lumbar process such as the absence of a specific direction of Physical Therapy, among others.
