ESPORTE PARA O DESENVOLVIMENTO E A PAZ: LEITURAS A PARTIR DA TEORIA DOS PROCESSOS SOCIAIS DE NORBERT ELIAS
O uso do esporte como ferramenta
de promoção do desenvolvimento humano tem
sido problematizado a partir de diferentes leituras
no campo da política social. Este artigo discute
o desenvolvimento das ações de inclusão social
por meio do esporte a partir de uma análise
do movimento de globalização do esporte. A
partir dos pressupostos teórico-metodológicos
da Teoria dos Jogos Competitivos, busca-se
evidenciar os tensionamentos presentes dentro
dessa figuração a partir da síntese dos desafios
enfrentados no tocante ao financiamento e à
avaliação das iniciativas em nível local.

Abstract:
The use of sport for human
development has been questioned from different
perspectives in the field of social policy. This
article discusses the development of initiatives
for social inclusion through sport from an analysis
of the sport globalization movement. Applying
the theoretical and methodological frameworks
of the Theory of Competitive Games, it seeks
to highlight the tensions within this figuration in
sport considering the synthesis of the challenges
regarding to funding and evaluation of local level
initiatives.
