ENFRENTAMENTO AO CORONAVIRUS EM INSTITUIÇÕES DE LONGA PERMANÊNCIA PARA IDOSOS: UMA REVISÃO DE LITERATURA
As Instituições de Longa Permanência para Idosos (ILPIs) são uma reformulação do antigo modelo asilar e apresentam peculiaridades na assistência e condição clinica dos idosos que chegam até essas instituições em países desenvolvidos em relação aos mais pobres, porém seguem as discussões em torno de aspectos que beneficiariam ou não idosos nessas residências. Os objetivos desta pesquisa são de analisar como a experiência durante pandemia por Covid-19 trouxe novas medidas a serem implementadas no cuidado a idosos em ILPs no Brasil e no mundo e compreender quais principais dificuldades enfrentadas nessas instituições por profissionais, familiares e idosos, referente às características do vírus e das medidas adotadas para seu enfrentamento. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura na base de dados Pubmed, onde se obteve um total de 132 artigos, destes através de critérios de inclusão e exclusão foram selecionados 12 posteriormente avaliados com um formulário próprio de informações pertinentes à pesquisa. Os estudos trazem experiências de profissionais, planejamento de ações por agencias sanitárias, atenção básica, direção das residências em vários países. Além disso esta análise comparativa dos estudos permitiu expor como ações que foram pautadas ou deixaram de ser, impactarão a curto e longo prazo em residentes, familiares e profissionais nessas ILPs, desta forma contribuindo para reformulação de ações concretas e eficientes.

Abstract:
The long-term care institutions for the elderly (LCIEs) are a reformulation of the old asylum model and present peculiarities in the care and clinical condition of the elderly who arrive at these institutions in developed countries in relation to the poorest, but follow the discussions around aspects that whether or not they would benefit the elderly in these homes. The objectives of this research are to analyze how the experience during the COVID-19 pandemic brought new measures to be implemented in the care of the elderly in LCIEs in Brazil and in the world and to understand what are the main difficulties faced in these institutions by professionals, family members and the elderly, regarding the characteristics of the virus and the measures adopted to combat it. It is an interactive review of the literature in the PubMed database, where a total of 132 articles were obtained, of which through inclusion and exclusion criteria, 12 were subsequently selected using a specific form of information relevant to the research. The studies bring experiences of professionals, action planning by health agencies, primary care and home management in several countries. In addition, this comparative analysis of the studies allowed to expose how actions that were guided or stopped being impacted in the short and long term on residents, families and professionals in these LCIEs, thus contributing to the reformulation of concrete and efficient actions.
