ENCEFALITE AUTOIMUNE NA INFÂNCIA: RELATO DE CASO E UMA REVISÃO DA LITERATURA
Introdução: Abordar a encefalite autoimune como um diagnóstico diferencial de encefalite viral aguda. Apresentar suas principais características clínicas e achados de exames complementares.
Objetivo: Relatar um caso de Encefalite Autoimune na infância no Hospital Geral de Itapecerica da Serra, na cidade de São Paulo (SP).
Resultados: Pre-escolar, 4 anos queixa de febre, confusão mental e agitação. mãe refere que na noite do mesmo dia apresentou déficit motor. Após 12 horas, a paciente evoluiu com alteração de comportamento e movimentos involuntários nos braços. Teve rebaixamento do quadro neurológico, exames sem alterações e chegou a evoluir com convulsão e fala desconexas. Paciente apresentou boa evolução clínica após conclusão do diagnóstico e tratamento direcionado.
Considerações finais: Diante da potencial gravidade do quadro de encefalite autoimune, é importante os relatos de caso sobre esse assunto para a experiência médica e aprimoramento do manejo desses pacientes

Abstract:
Introduction: Addressing it as a differential diagnosis of acute viral encephalitis. Present its main clinical characteristics and findings of complementary exams.
Objective: To report a case of Autoimmune Encephalitis in childhood at the General Hospital of Itapecerica da Serra, in the city of São Paulo (SP).
Results: School, 4 years old, complaining of fever, mental confusion and agitation. mother reports that on the night of the same day he had a motor deficit in ESM. After 12 hours, the patient evolved with behavior change and involuntary arm movements. She had a reduction in her neurological condition, exams without alterations and even evolved with seizures and disconnected speech. Patient had good clinical evolution after completion of diagnosis and targeted treatment.
Considerations: Given the potential severity of autoimmune encephalitis, case reports on this subject are important for the medical experience and improvement of the management of these patients.
