Emprego de bambu em vigas de concreto armado
O presente trabalho trata da análise de viabilidade técnica do emprego de
bambu como material de armadura em vigas de concreto, cujo estudo está
relacionado a aspectos físicos, mecânicos e comportamentais de todos os materiais
envolvidos na elaboração deste tipo de elemento estrutural. Os conceitos técnicos e
os resultados, foram obtidos com base em fontes bibliográficas, portanto, sem a
realização de ensaios e/ou pesquisas práticas pelo autor. Por meio dos dados
concretos dos vários trabalhos científicos estudados, chegou-se à conclusão de que
existe viabilidade técnica no emprego de armadura de bambu em vigas, sendo
possível atender às condições da teoria dos Estados Limites Últimos, recomendados
pelas NBR 6118:2014, desde que sejam levados em consideração certos aspectos
primordiais de execução e tratamento dos respectivos materiais. Também foi
verificada a necessidade de aprimoramento e normatização teórico-práticos e,
padronização dos métodos executivos referentes a esta área da construção civil.

Abstract:
The present work deals with the technical feasibility analysis of the use
of bamboo as reinforcement material in concrete beams, whose study is related to
physical, mechanical and behavioral aspects of all the materials involved in the
elaboration of this type of structural element. The technical concepts and the results
were obtained based on bibliographic sources, therefore, without the
accomplishment of tests and / or practical researches by the author. Through the
concrete data of the various scientific studies studied, it was concluded that there is
technical feasibility in the use of bamboo reinforcement in beams, and it is possible
to meet the conditions of the theory of the Latest Limit States, recommended by NBR
6118: 2014, since that certain key aspects of the execution and treatment of their
materials are taken into account. It was also verified the need for improvement and
standardization of theoretical and practical and standardization of the executive
methods related to this area of civil construction.
