EMPREENDEDORISMO, INTERDISCIPLINARIDADE, DOCÊNCIA: IMPORTÂNCIA DAS PARCERIAS INTERNACIONAIS ENTREPRENEURSHIP, INTERDISCIPLINARITY, TEACHING: IMPORTANCE OF INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIPS
Este capítulo resume as principais atividades desenvolvidas em parceria internacional entre o Centro Paula Souza, e a Universidade de Porto Rico, recintos de Humacao e Rio Piedras, representado por professores, ex-alunos e alunos da FATEC/SP e da Unidade de Pós-Graduação. A metodologia utilizada para o desenvolvimento deste artigo é comparativa, ou seja, procuram-se determinar as principais estratégias e abordagens desenvolvidas ao longo da referida parceria, avaliando-se em seguida seus respectivos impactos e, sempre que possível, comparando-os com as tendências no(s) país(es). Com uma timeline de aproximadamente 15 anos, já é possível estabelecer que ocorreram desenvolvimentos e mudanças de abordagem bastante semelhantes às propostas desenvolvidas simultaneamente por essas parcerias. Além disso, o apoio institucional, dos dois lados da parceria, foi fundamental para facilitar as ações, sendo um bom exemplo a formalização da parceria inicialmente por um Memoradum of Understanding (MOU). Como futuras ações esperam-se estender os bons resultados obtidos até o momento também aos alunos de graduação e, para tanto, sistemas multimídia, tais como orientação a distância, tornam-se fundamentais.

Abstract:
This book chapter summarizes the most important activities developed in international cooperation between Centro Paula Souza, which is represented by teachers, alumni and students from FATEC/SP and the Graduate Program Center, and the University of Puerto Rico, Humacao and Rio Piedras precincts. The methodology used for the development of this article is comparative, this means, we try to determine the main strategies and approaches developed throughout the mentioned cooperation, then evaluating their respective impacts and, whenever possible, comparing them to the tendencies in the country(ies). With a timeline of approximately 15 years, it is already possible to establish that developments and changes in approach have occurred which are quite similar to the proposals developed simultaneously by these partnerships. Moreover, the institutional support, on both sides of the cooperation, was fundamental to facilitate the actions, a good example of which is the formalization of the cooperation initially through a Memoradum of Understanding (MOU). As future actions we hope to extend the good results obtained so far also to undergraduate students and, for this, multimedia systems, such as remote mentoring, become fundamental.
