ELABORAÇÃO DE MANUAL BÁSICO DE HISTOLOGIA PELA MONITORIA DE UM SISTEMA ORGÂNICO INTEGRADO NO CURSO DE MEDICINA
As diretrizes curriculares nacionais do curso de Medicina estabelecem que as escolas médicas devem estimular seus estudantes à construção coletiva de conhecimento em todas as oportunidades do processo de trabalho para, então, participar da formação de futuros profissionais. Assim, os monitores, desde a graduação, têm a oportunidade de serem protagonistas, a partir da orientação docente, na condução da produção de materiais, no desenvolvimento de habilidades de leitura, escrita e pensamento crítico. Dessa maneira, após discussão entre alunos monitores e professores de um Sistema Orgânico Integrado (SOI), foi idealizado um Manual Básico de Histologia, contendo os principais assuntos que devem ser de conhecimento dos estudantes para uma boa adaptação e utilização dos laboratórios e das ferramentas disponibilizadas para o melhor aproveitamento das atividades do SOI. O objetivo deste trabalho foi elaborar material didático (Manual Básico de Histologia) para facilitar a inserção dos estudantes às atividades do SOI. Foi desenvolvido um manual divido em cinco partes, são elas: Biossegurança, Bases Históricas, Planos de Corte Histológico, Estrutura e Funcionamento do Microscópio e, por fim, Técnicas Histológicas. Utilizou-se fotografias dos equipamentos da própria instituição de ensino superior (IES) para a confecção do material, a fim de criar uma maior integração entre prática e leitura. As cinco sessões foram definidas com base na percepção dos professores e alunos monitores do SOI sobre as maiores dificuldades de aprendizagem e adaptação do estudante recém chegado na IES. Assim, com a construção do Manual Básico de histologia, contendo 15 páginas, espera-se que os estudantes do curso de Medicina, independente de quando iniciaram suas atividades práticas durante as unidades curriculares do primeiro período, sintam-se integrados aos demais estudantes e possam fazer isso de maneira autônoma e segura, por meio do produto final deste trabalho, que é o Manual Básico de Histologia.

Abstract:
The national curriculum guidelines for the medical course establish that medical schools must encourage their students to collectively build knowledge at all opportunities in the work process, so that they can participate in the training of future professionals. Thus, monitors, since graduation, have the opportunity to be protagonists, based on teacher guidance, in conducting the production of materials, in the development of reading, writing and critical thinking skills. In this way, after discussion between student monitors and teachers of an Integrated Organic System (IOS), a Basic Histology Manual was devised, containing the main subjects that should be known to students for a good adaptation and use of the laboratories and tools available for the best use of IOS activities. The goal of this work was to elaborate didactic material (Basic Manual of Histology) to facilitate the insertion of students in IOS activities. A manual was developed divided into five parts, which are: Biosafety, Historical Bases, Histological Section Plans, Structure and Functioning of the Microscope and, finally, Histological Techniques. Photographs of the equipment of the higher education institution (HEI) were used to make the material, in order to create a greater integration between practice and reading. The five sessions were defined based on the perception of teachers and student monitors at IOS of the greatest difficulties in learning and adapting the newly arrived student at HEI. Thus, with the construction of the Basic Histology Manual, containing 15 pages, it is expected that medical students, regardless of when they started their practical activities during the curricular units of the first period, feel integrated with the other students and can do this in an autonomous and safe way, through the final product of this work, which is the Basic Histology Manual.
