EFEITOS DA TERAPIA NUTRICIONAL ENTERAL NA EVOLUÇÃO CLÍNICA E NUTRICIONAL DE PACIENTES COM DIAGNÓSTICO DE ACIDENTE VASCULAR CEREBRAL
Este trabalho objetivou analisar os efeitos da terapia nutricional enteral (TNE) na evolução clínica e nutricional de pacientes com diagnóstico de Acidente Vascular Cerebral (AVC). Tratou-se de uma revisão de literatura nas bases de dados Google acadêmico, Scielo e PubMed, durante o mês de agosto de 2019. O AVC, por causar uma disfunção em algumas regiões cerebrais, pode afetar o estado nutricional dos indivíduos, desfavorecendo o prognóstico; portanto, o emprego da TNE objetiva prevenir ou controlar a desnutrição e assim favorecer a evolução clínica desses pacientes. Todavia, apesar dos benefícios, é importante que a conduta seja definida de forma individualizada no sentido de prevenir os riscos e complicações, que podem comprometer o estado nutricional desses pacientes.

Abstract:
The aim of this study was to analyze the effects of the enteral nutrional therapy (ENT) at the clinical and nutritional evolution of patients diagnosed with stroke. It consisted of a literature review at Google Scholar, SciELO and PubMED databases during august of 2019. The stroke, by causing a disfunction at some cereberal regions, may affect the nutritional state of the individuals, worsening the prognosis; thus, the use of ENT aims to prevent or control desnutrition and, therefore, favor the clinical evolution of these patients. However, regarding the benefits, it is important that the conduct is defined individually in the sense of preventing the risks and complications, which can compromise the nutrional state of these patients.
