Abstract: This study analyzes the effects of physiotherapy in early intervention for children with trisomy 21 through an integrative literature review. Physiotherapeutic care during the first months of life proves essential for promoting motor, functional, and social development, supporting the acquisition of basic skills, autonomy, and overall well-being. Evidence suggests that stimulation during this critical developmental period enhances neuromotor connections and improves responses to everyday demands. Interdisciplinary collaboration, combined with active family involvement, reinforces the effectiveness of interventions by providing continuous support. Nevertheless, the literature reveals significant gaps regarding specific approaches, highlighting the need for further research to strengthen clinical practice.
