Educação Popular como meio para a superação da masculinidade hegemônica
O trabalho traz uma apresentação de masculinidade hegemônica e sua relação com a ideologia patriarcal e a forma como homens são ensinados a agir, sentir e pensar, bem como uma reflexão sobre a possibilidade de se superar essa forma de ser homem amplamente difundida na sociedade. Para isso, a Educação Popular aparece como meio para se atingir a superação da masculinidade hegemônica, tendo como base os pilares da pedagogia freiriana como a amorosidade, respeito ao saber popular e cultural e às diferentes visões de mundo dos povos oprimidos. Tem-se como objetivo a exposição dos prejuízos causados pela masculinidade hegemônica nas relações dos homens com outras pessoas e apresentar a Educação Popular como forma de reconstrução da masculinidade. Quanto à metodologia, trata-se de revisão bibliográfica baseada em artigos de revistas eletrônicas, Scielo e livros da área de educação, em língua portuguesa. O material serviu de base para articulação dos temas abordados visando propor alternativas para superar a masculinidade hegemônica tendo como base a Educação Popular. Pode-se afirmar que, através das metodologias utilizadas na abordagem freiriana, como a problematização, é possível contribuir para a transformação da masculinidade, fazendo com que homens de uma determinada região reflitam e problematizem o que é ser homem. Outro ponto importante é o uso da amorosidade, que ao ser difundida entre homens, pode também ser aprendida e repassada para seus filhos, netos e amigos, modificando a forma como os homens se relacionam entre si. Conclui-se, portanto, a necessidade de se trabalhar o modelo de homem em vigor, o qual coloca em risco principalmente mulheres, seja por agressão física ou outra qualquer, mas também os próprios homens, que tendem a se colocar em risco para provar a própria masculinidade.

Abstract:
The research brings a presentation of hegemonic masculity and its relation with patriarcal ideology and the way how men are taught to act, feel and think, as well a reflection about the possibility of overcome that widespread way in society of being a man.Thereunto, the Popular Education arise as a mean to reach the overcoming of hegemonic masculity, based on the pillars of Freire’s pedagogy as lovingness, respect to the popular and cultural knowledge and to the different ways to the world of opressed people. As objective it brings the showing of the losses caused by hegemonic masculinity in the men relations with other people and introduce Popular Education as a mean of the reconstruction of masculinity. As for the methodology, is a literature review based on articles of electronic magazines, Scielo and education books, wrote in portuguese. The data served of basis to articulate the covered topics directing to propose ways to overcome hegemonic masculity using Popular Education. Can be said that, throug the used methodologies on Freire’s approach, as problematization, is possible to contribute with masculinity remaking, making men of specific places think and problematize what is being a man. Another important point is the use of lovingness, which being widespread between men, can also be learned and passed on their children, grandchildren and friends, changing the way of how men relate to each other. It is concluded, therefore, the need to work the current model of man, which one put in risk mainly women, either physical or another type of violence, but also men themselves, who tend to put themselves in risk trying to prove their own masculinity.
