EDUCAÇÃO EM SAÚDE NA PREVENÇÃO DAS IST’S: UM RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA
RESUMO: As Infecções Sexualmente Transmissíveis (IST´s) são um problema de saúde pública, com mais de um milhão de pessoas acometidas. São transmitidas através contato sexual, por via sanguínea, e por transmissão vertical durante a gestação, parto e amamentação. Objetivo: Relatar a experiência vivenciada no projeto de intervenção através de ações educativas e preventivas às IST’s. Método: Trata-se de um relato de experiência do projeto de intervenção elaborado durante a disciplina de saúde família, por acadêmicos de enfermagem, biomedicina e Ed. Física. Desenvolvido no povoado Mata Fome na cidade de Bacabal –MA em parceria com os profissionais da Unidade de Básica de Saúde. Realizada em 3 etapas, na 1º etapa: um ciclo de palestras, a 2º etapa foi constituída pela oferta de testes rápidos para HIV, Sífilis, Hepatite B e C aos que desejassem voluntariamente, a 3º etapa foi a orientação individual, enfatizando imunização da hepatite B, além da distribuição de camisinhas femininas e masculinas. Resultados e Discussão: Quanto a 2º e 3º etapas foram realizados 25 testes, sendo que destes não houve resultado reagente/positivos para HIV e hepatite B, porém puderam-se constatar 2 pessoas infectadas, sendo um reagente para Sífilis e outro reagente para Hepatite C. Todos foram orientados individualmente e foi dado encaminhamento para seguimento na rede de atenção à saúde para atendimento integral/ tratamento e acompanhamento. Considerações Finais: Este trabalho de intervenção atingiu suas metas sendo um projeto acadêmico capaz de dar retorno a comunidade, e de intervir na saúde através da prevenção primária, secundária e terciária presente nas ações desenvolvidas. Destaca-se a importância da intersetorialidade, integração entre a universidade e os serviços de saúde especialmente a atenção primária para identificação de problemas e intervenções voltadas para uma assistência de qualidade e integral voltada para as reais necessidades da população.

Abstract:
ABSTRACT: Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) are a public health problem, with more than one million people affected. They are transmitted through sexual contact, through the blood, and by vertical transmission during pregnancy, childbirth and breastfeeding. Objective: To report the experience lived in the intervention project through educational and preventive actions to STIs. Method: This is an experience report of the intervention project elaborated during the family health discipline, by nursing, biomedical and physical education students. Developed in the Mata Fome village in the city of Bacabal –MA in partnership with professionals from the Basic Health Unit. Carried out in 3 stages, in the 1st stage: a cycle of lectures, the 2nd stage consisted of offering rapid tests for HIV, Syphilis, Hepatitis B and C For those who wanted to voluntarily, the 3rd stage was individual guidance, emphasizing immunization against hepatitis B, in addition to the distribution of female and male condoms. Results and Discussion: As for the 2nd and 3rd stages, 25 tests were performed, of which there were no reagent/positive results for HIV and hepatitis B, but 2 infected people could be found, one reagent for Syphilis and another reagent for Hepatitis C All were individually oriented and referred for follow-up in the health care network for comprehensive care/treatment and follow-up. Final Considerations: This intervention work achieved its goals as an academic project capable of giving feedback to the community, and intervening in health through primary, secondary and tertiary prevention present in the developed actions. The importance of intersectoriality, integration between the university and health services, especially primary care, to identify problems and interventions aimed at quality and comprehensive care focused on the real needs of the population is highlighted.
