ECHINODERMATA PARA CRIANÇAS: ANÁLISE DOS CONTEÚDOS SOBRE A CLASSE ASTEROIDEA NA CANTIGA “ESTRELA-DO-MAR” DO LIVRO/AUDIOLIVRO E CD “AQUÁTICO”
O projeto “Aquático”, de autoria da artista Ana Cristina, aborda várias temáticas ligadas à vida marinha de forma lúdica, objetivando sensibilizar crianças para a problemática ambiental através da arte. A cantiga “estrela-do-mar”, mesmo com linguagem voltada para o público infantil, traz em sua letra conteúdos biológicos relacionados aos Asteroidea. O objetivo deste capítulo foi analisar a letra da cantiga “estrela-do-mar” para diagnosticar como conteúdos biológicos de Asteroidea são abordados e se os mesmos têm embasamento científico. O método utilizado foi qualitativo, usando a técnica da interpretação como foco, onde a subjetividade é enfatizada. A letra da cantiga foi analisada e as estrofes que versavam sobre aspectos biológicos (subjetivamente ou não) foram destacadas e confrontadas com os conhecimentos acadêmicos. A letra da música mostra que as estrelas-do-mar são animais (ela é um bichinho), bentônicos (anda pelo chão do fundo do mar bem devagarinho), predadores vorazes que evertem o estômago para engolir seu alimento sem mastigar (comilona até, a estrela-do-mar, mesmo sem dentinhos/gosta de engolir tudo bom que vê/pelo seu caminho). A cantiga também aborda questões referentes à diversidade das estrelas-do-mar e sua abundância (tem de toda cor, no fundo do mar faz um céu inteiro!) além da importância de não coletá-las e preservá-las em seu habitat natural (tão bonita assim, bem no seu lugar/a estrela é do mar/ pois fora da água ela não tem vida, é só um enfeite em algum lugar.). A cantiga termina deixando a mensagem de que as estrelas-do-mar preservadas no seu habitat trazem beleza e equilíbrio ao meio ambiente (estrela-do-mar, estrela-do-mar, fique aí, quietinha/no fundo do mar, faz da água um céu cheio de estrelinhas…). Conclui-se que a cantiga “estrela-do-mar” se debruçou não só nos aspectos poéticos e lúdicos sobre estes animais, mas também nos conhecimentos científicos referentes aos Asteroidea.

Abstract:
The “Aquatic” project, authored by the artist Ana Cristina, addresses several themes related to marine life in a playful way, aiming to raise children's awareness of environmental issues through art. The song "Starfish", even with language aimed at children, brings in its lyrics biological contents related to Asteroidea. The objective of this chapter was to analyze the lyrics of the song "Starfish" to diagnose how biological contents of Asteroidea are approached and if they have a scientific basis. The method used was qualitative research, using the interpretation technique as a focus, where subjectivity is emphasized. The lyrics of the song has been analyzed and the verses that focused on biological aspects (subjectively or not) were highlighted and confronted with academic knowledge. The lyrics of the song show that the starfish are animals (she is a pet), benthic (walks on the floor of the seabed very slowly), voracious predators that outsource their stomachs to swallow their food without chewing (even eating, the starfish, even without teeth/ likes to swallow everything good it sees/ on its way). The song also addresses issues related to the diversity of starfish and their abundance (it has all colors; under the sea it makes a whole sky!) besides the importance of not collecting and preserving them in their natural habitat (so beautiful, right in its place/ the star is from the sea/ because out of the water it has no life, it’s just an ornament somewhere.). The song ends by leaving the message that the starfish preserved in their habitat bring beauty and balance to the environment (starfish, starfish, stay there, quietly/ on the seabed, makes a sky full of sparklers…). It is concluded that the song "starfish" focused not only on the poetic and playful aspects of these animals, but also on the scientific knowledge related to the Asteroidea.
