Dificultadores na Gestão Escolar Municipal em Boa Vista/RR
Este trabalho resultou de pesquisa
com doze gestoras de escolas municipais
de Boa Vista, Roraima, cujo objetivo foi
identificar os aspectos dificultadores de sua
atuação profissional, em relação a três níveis
organizacionais distintos. Os dados foram
coletados por meio da aplicação de questionários.
Os resultados permitiram identificar o perfil de
ocupante de cargo de gestão escolar municipal
como sendo do sexo feminino, maior que trinta
anos de idade e com formação em pedagogia.
Quanto ao levantamento específico dos
dificultadores no cotidiano de trabalho destas
gestoras, não houve queixas na relação com
a administração superior, a SMEC. Por outro
lado, alguns dificultadores foram encontrados
na relação com os professores de suas escolas,
principalmente no que se refere à assiduidade
destes profissionais. O item que apresentou
maior queixa foi a relação com alunos e/ou
seus familiares: destacou-se a questão do
pouco envolvimento de algumas famílias com o
processo educacional de seus filhos e filhas. De
modo unânime, entretanto, as gestoras sentemse
realizadas com suas atividades, mais por
gostarem do que fazem do que por terem todas
as condições ideais de trabalho. Verificou-se,
portanto, haver maiores dificuldades em relação
a fatores que estão fora do controle institucional
da gestão escolar, ou seja, as famílias dos
alunos e alunas. Neste sentido, concluiuse
ser recomendável o desenvolvimento de
mecanismos mais eficientes de comunicação
entre as famílias e a gestão escolar, o que
pode minimizar as situações relacionadas ao
principal dificultador identificado, com possíveis
impactos positivos sobre o rendimento escolar
dos estudantes.

Abstract:
This work results from a research
with twelve managers from municipal schools
in Boa Vista, Roraima, whose objective
was to identify the difficult aspects of their
professional activity, in relation to three different
organizational levels. The data were collected
through the application of questionnaires. The
results allowed to identify the occupant profile
of municipal school management as female,
older than thirty years of age and trained in
pedagogy. Regarding the specific survey of the
difficulties in the day-to-day work of these managers, there were no complaints in the
relationship with the upper management degree, SMEC. On the other hand, some
difficulties were found in the relationship with the teachers of their schools, especially
regarding the assiduity of these professionals. The item that presented the biggest
complaint, however, was the relationship with students and/or their families: the issue
of the low involvement of some families with the educational process of their sons
and daughters was highlighted. In a unanimous way, however, managers feel they are
satisfied with their activities, because more they like what they do than the availability
of ideal working conditions. There were, therefore, greater difficulties in relation to
factors that are outside the institutional control of school management, that is, the
families of students. In this sense, it was concluded that it is advisable to develop more
efficient mechanisms of communication between families and school management,
which can minimize situations related to the main obstacle identified, with possible
positive impacts on students’ school performance
