DIAGNÓSTICO DA GESTÃO DE ESTOQUES NO ALMOXARIFADO DE UMA INSTITUIÇÃO DE ENSINO SUPERIOR
A gestão de estoques é essencial
para a eficiência na administração dos materiais,
sejam as organizações públicas ou privadas.
Diante disso, uma sistemática adequada
pode auxiliar os gestores dos almoxarifados a
resolverem problemas como falta de material
de uso contínuo, atraso no atendimento das
solicitações dos setores requisitantes. O
presente trabalho tem como objetivo explorar
o impacto em relação ao custo e as condições
dos itens estocados, tornando mais eficiente
e eficaz a administração desses recursos, no
almoxarifado de uma Instituição de Ensino
Superior pública. O método buscou analisar
o processo e identificar possíveis melhorias
através de entrevista com o gestor responsável
pelo setor, observação do local, coleta e análise
dos dados. Com a curva ABC, observou-se que
um dos itens representa aproximadamente 57%
do valor total de itens solicitados no período
investigado levantando oportunidades de ações
para trabalhos futuros.

Abstract:
Inventory management is
essential for efficient material management,
whether public or private firms. In view of this,
a suitable system can help the managers of
the warehouses to solve problems such as lack
of continuous use material, delay in meeting
requests from the requesting sectors. The
paper’s objective is to explore the impact on
the cost and conditions of stock items, making
the administration of these resources more
efficient and effective in the warehouse of a
public higher education institution. The method
used is case study to analyze the process and
identify possible improvements through an
interview with the manager responsible for the sector, site observation, data collection
and analysis. With the ABC curve, it was observed that one of the items represents
approximately 57% of the total value of items requested in the period investigated,
raising opportunities for future work.
