DIABETES MELLITUS GESTACIONAL: ASSISTÊNCIA COM AÇÕES EDUCATIVAS E IMPLANTAÇÃO DE UM PLANO DE ALTA DE ENFERMAGEM VOLTADO PARA AS GESTANTES INTERNADAS EM UM HOSPITAL UNIVERSITÁRIO: UM RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA
Diabetes Mellitus Gestacional (DMG) é qualquer nível de intolerância a carboidratos, resultando em hiperglicemia de gravidade variável, com início ou diagnóstico durante a gestação. Após confirmação do diagnóstico de DMG, as mulheres devem ser encorajadas quanto às práticas de autocuidado que se fazem necessárias para o tratamento. A função do enfermeiro, nesse contexto, é imprescindível, devido às suas ações de educação em saúde, de escuta, esclarecimento e interação com o paciente e a família. Abstract:
Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (DMG) is any level of intolerance to carbohydrates, resulting in hyperglycemia of varying severity, with onset or diagnosis during pregnancy.
