DESENVOLVIMENTO DE UMA ROTINA COMPUTACIONAL EM MATLAB PARA ANÁLISE DE PROBLEMAS DE CONDUÇÃO EM ALETAS
O objetivo deste trabalho é desenvolver uma rotina computacional didática para analisar problemas de condução de calor em aletas. Essa rotina foi desenvolvida em MATLAB para diversas geometrias de aletas onde o usuário entra com dados de análise através de uma interface e obtém resultados para a temperatura em pontos de interesse, o gráfico da distribuição de temperaturas, a eficiência térmica da aleta e a efetividade da aleta. A formulação utilizada foi aquela fornecida em livros de transferência de calor. Espera-se que a rotina seja útil como ferramenta didática e de estudo para problemas de condução calor em aletas, usualmente de solução tediosa e complexa.

Abstract:
The objective of this study is to develop a didactic computational routine to analyze heat conduction problems in fins. This routine will be developed in MATLAB for various fin geometries where the user will enter analysis data through an interface and obtain results for the temperature at points of interest, the graph of the temperature distribution, the thermal efficiency of the fin and the effectiveness of the fin. The formulation used will be that provided in heat transfer books. It is expected that the routine will be useful as a didactic and study tool for heat conduction problems in fins, usually with a tedious and complex solution.
